Character Story and Voicelines

Story 1

Izanagi was born in Inazuma in a middle-class family. His father was an Adventurer from Inazuma and his mother was a bard from Mondstadt.

He lived in Konda Village along with his parents. His parents are already old and he usually takes care of them.

But his parents told him to live his own life and see the world.

Story 2

At the age of 19, his parents told him to explore and see the world. So it was, Izanagi became a traveller and explored the other nations.

He first explored his mother's hometown, Mondstadt. He met many bards there, went inside the magnificent Favonius Cathedral, tried new dishes in the city and experienced the freedom that his mother and father always described, until they settled down in Inazuma.

Story 3

After exploring the City of Freedom, he then went to Teyvat's trading hub. The City of Contracts, Liyue. He also found it very lively, the city is bustling with merchants, chefs, sailors and many more.

He also read many stories from Liyue. The Geo Archon's campaign during the Archon War, the story of how Liyue Harbor became the city that they know today and many more stories about Liyue's culture and the people's way of life.

Also, Izanagi witnessed the Lantern Rite Festival and just like the locals, he also tried making a xiao lantern, write his own wish on the lantern and let it fly along the thousand lanterns that lit up the night sky.

Story 4

Not only did he witnessed the Lantern Rite, but Izanagi then returned back in Mondstadt as he heard that Mondstadt is celebrating the Windblume Festival.

Izanagi wandered the city and he was also asked what is the Windblume by a random bard.

Izanagi answered, "The Windblume? Well, as far as I know, no one knows what is the Windblume Flower. We have many interpretations of the said flower but, I guess the flower that we choose as the Windblume, represents our heart's desire. After all, this is the City of Freedom, where the people are free to express their feelings and thoughts in many different ways. Just like how people think what is the Windblume Flower."

Story 5

Izanagi also wandered among the other nations but he really became more fond of Mondstadt and Liyue. But deep inside his heart, he still missed his parents. Every night, Izanagi would ask, "How are my parents doing? Are they doing well? What is currently happening in Konda Village?"

Those are just some of his questions filled with worry. But at the same time, he also longs for his home. So, after a few years of him wandering around Teyvat.........he went back to Inazuma.............

But only to find his once peaceful home........now became entangled in chaos as the Vision Hunt Decree and the Sakoku Decree were promulgated.

Being a Vision Bearer himself, he hid his Vision away and rushed back to see his parents.

When he came home, his parents were shocked to see their son, at home once more. But their reunion was cut short when Izanagi realized that if he stayed at their house, his parents might be caught up in the Vision Hunt Decree.

So he bid his farewell once again to his parents. His parents knew what their son meant and they allowed him to go. His son promised his parents, "Mom, Dad, when all of this is over, I'll tell you all the stories of my travels across the other nations. For now, I just hope that you two will be safe."
