Izanagi's POV. Plane of Euthymia.

Ei: What is the reason I find you standing here in front of me once again?

Ei: Do you hope your foolhardiness will shelter those people? Or was simply a means of seeking an audience with me?

Izanagi: *gulp*

Izanagi: So, this is the true Raiden Shogun. She's different from the puppet.

Lumine: The Fatui have deceived the Raiden Shogun.

Ei: Surely you didn't rouse me from my state of eternal meditation to tell me this?

Ei: If so, you underestimate me. I am well aware of what is going on about the Vision Hunt Decree.

Izanagi: If you know what's going on then........

Ei: Not so, only everything that pertains to eternity. The Vision Hunt Decree has my tacit approval.

Izanagi: Say what!?

Ei: The Fatui's actions does not constitute any threat to eternity, otherwise........they would've been purged a long time ago.

Lumine: But, the people of Inazuma are suffering.

Ei: Individual ambition is inherently incompatible with eternity.

Ei: What you don't have realize is that people have far more to lose in chasing their dreams.

Ei: Consider this — no one will lose their life on account of their Vision being taken away.

Ei: Rather, those who have lost their lives are the ones who insisted on pursuing their aspirations, are they not?

Lumine: Teppei.........

Ei: Then let me ask the other one here. What's your name?

Izanagi: Izanagi.

Ei: Izanagi.........you are a Vision Bearer as well. Tell me, how did you received your Vision?

I told her the story on how I got my Vision.

Ei: You almost lost your life but then.........the gods looked down upon you with favor.

Ei: In pursuing your ambition, did you lose something?

Izanagi: .............

Izanagi: You said that people have far more to lose when chasing their ambitions, right?

Ei: Yes.

I smiled as I remember my travels.

Izanagi: You're right. I lost many things when I was reaching my ambition.

Ei: See what I mean?

Izanagi: But it doesn't mean that I lost them for nothing.

Ei: What?

Izanagi: I learned the value of losing something.

Izanagi: I lost something, because it's not going to help me in the long run. I lost something because I gained something new.

Izanagi: I lost something, because it might only lead me into getting hurt. I lost something, because in order for me to seek what is the most important.
