Izanagi's POV. Miko's House.
It's already been three days since Miko tasked the Traveler to take the evidence of the Tenryou Commission's betrayal.
Izanagi: I just hope everything is going fine.
Miko who is reading a book said with a reassuring tone.
Miko: Don't worry. They'll be fine.
Miko: Also, I guess it's time, huh?
Izanagi: Right. You said that you're about to expose the Tenryou Commission's betrayal right in front of Sara's eyes.
Miko: Yes. But I want you, to expose it to her.
Izanagi: Why me?
Miko: Well, you already had your doubts about the Tenryou Commission, right?
Miko: Well, you and Sara had a past. I know she probably told you everything that was going on in the Tenryou Commission at some point?
Izanagi: Yeah. Like the Tenryou Commission is being super strict with their soldiers.
Izanagi: Not to mention..........
A certain memory kicked in.
Izanagi: When I first met Sara, she was crying because she was reprimanded by Sir Takayuki for having fun with her fellow soldiers.
Miko: *sigh*
Miko: A caged bird........
Miko: While you on the other hand, is a free wind. You are the one who freed Sara from her loneliness.
Miko: But then, it all went down because she was just fulfilling her duty as a servant of the Shogun.
Izanagi: But you know, what they did..........
Izanagi: Not to mention, this pointless war..........
Miko: I know.
Miko: Izanagi: You're worried for the children, right? What would they say if they find out what was really going on?
Miko: And other innocent people will be dragged into this? Including your parents, of course.
Izanagi: Yes.
I stared at the ground.
Izanagi: My parents are already old.
Izanagi: Well, I guess they are even ready to face death. But I still want them to live a long life.
I smiled at Miko.
Izanagi: I want to introduce you to my parents first.
Miko: Oh~
Miko: Is that already a marriage proposal~
Izanagi: *sigh*
Izanagi: Miko, we've been in a relationship for less than a month, y'know.
Izanagi: Besides, can't even do much because of what is happening right now.
