Izanagi's POV. Chinju Forest.

Izanagi: So, what did you and the Raiden Shogun talked about?

I asked the fox envoy whom I'm carrying on my back.

She leans her chin on my right shoulder as I can feel her gentle embrace around me.

Miko: Well, we had a small talk. But that's it.

Izanagi: What do you mean, that's it?

Miko: I came to visit her but she's not interested.

Izanagi: *sigh*

As still on our way home, I asked her.

Izanagi: You said that she's your friend, right? Did the two of you got into a big fight?

Miko: No, no. We never got into a big fight of some sorts.

She went quiet as she gives out a melancholic sigh.

Miko: Well, she never gave me a proper farewell.

Izanagi: Proper farewell?

Miko: A long story. But let me tell you this, Izanagi.

Miko: The Raiden Shogun that the people of Inazuma knows......or atleast what they know.......

Miko: .............

Miko: There is more to her than meets the eye.

Izanagi: Aren't you also like the same?

Miko: Hey!

She suddenly bit my shoulder, well it's not really painful because the cloth of my kimono is somehow thick.

Izanagi: Ow! Hey! What are you doing all of a sudden!?

She then smiled.

Miko: You're being a jerk!

Izanagi: Huh? If I'm a jerk I would've dropped you here already.

Miko: You won't dare.

Izanagi: I would dare.

I just chuckled.

Izanagi: Haha. Relax. I wouldn't do that to you?

Miko: Mou..........

Then we arrived at Miko's house in the middle of the forest.

Despite the location it is still a decent house with a living room, bath, dining room, kitchen and luckily, it has two rooms.

I gently let go of Miko as she gets on her feet.

Miko: Thanks for carrying me.

Izanagi: You're just lazy to walk, aren't you?

She leans closer to me.
