the moment the first episode finished— which y/n was relieved for seeing as though 'red light, green light' sort of traumatised them— the food hard arrived. the delivery person gave y/n a concerning look whilst handing them the large food order, but dismissed any questions the moment she heard loud noises coming from inside the house.

y/n plopped the several bags on the kitchen counter and prepared everyone's meals. they took out all the food and placed each and every sort of food ordered on 13 paper plates (they only had a few actual bowls and places for their family that'd often come over), and took out some capri sun pouches for everyone since that was the only drink y/n often consumed.

once the table was set up and the plates were in place— some ended up having to be on the kitchen counter and the coffee table in the living room since the dining table wasn't big enough— y/n proceeded to go back to their bedroom to let the others know that food was awaiting them.

not wanting to interrupt whatever was happening, y/n lightly knocked on the door. when aether hummed in response, they sighed with relief.

"aether, i bought some food for the others to eat. i'll be waiting out here so i can guide everyone to the table."

aether said something in a language unknown to y/n, before responding back. "alright, we'll be out in a bit!" he shouted over the small chorus of celebrations. y/n giggled quietly, deciding to use their phone while waiting.

suddenly, a voice could be heard from directly in front of y/n's face. "what have you got there in your hand?" a man asked. y/n's eyes slowly looked up, noticing that it was albedo that had taken an interest to the device in your hand.

"this right here," y/n handed the phone to the alchemist to give him a closer look, "is a phone! we use it to communicate with family as well as close friends. you can play games, take pictures, as well as call-"

y/n stopped mid sentence as they noticed that albedo wasn't picking up on anything they were saying. the streamer immediately face palmed once they realized that they didn't speak english at all. luckily enough aether was right beside albedo, whilst the others had begun to also stare at the device that albedo was given. y/n silently begged aether with their eyes to give them an answer, to which the blonde boy immediately picked up and began to describe what was said.
