noticing kazuha and xiao snuggling up to each other on the living room couch, y/n looks towards albedo to begin their silly little prank.

after all, it is april fools, no?

"albedoooo, should we go out on a date today?"

xiao's ears perk up at the mention of a date, but scowls at the thought of y/n going out with someone else other than him and/or kazuha. albedo notices the adeptus' discomfort, but ignores it.

'sorry lover boy. you'll have them later.'

"of course my love. where would you like to go?"

y/n brings albedo in for a hug and rests their head on his shoulder. they sigh into it, before looking at albedo's face with innocent eyes.

they then make a pouty face before suggesting a location. "can we go stargazing tonight? i checked the weather earlier and it's supposed to be clear skies. please?~"

albedo chuckles lightly, patting y/n's head. "of course. i'll go wherever you go~"

xiao frowns at the two's actions. from the other side of the couch kazuha picks up on the other boy's actions, but chuckles.

"what are you laughing at?"

kazuha shakes his head, smiling at xiao. "nothing. you look rather cute when you are feeling jealous."

"jealous? as if," xiao looks away, feeling somewhat embarrassed, "we should be doing that with y/n. isn't that so?"

"you believe that you are not jealous, but your red ears say otherwise~"

xiao rolled his eyes at kazuha and throws a pillow his way. "fine, maybe i am. so what?"

"again, it's nothing. but you still look cute-"

"call me cute again and i will pull your hair out." xiao threatened, although his face faltered slightly. kazuha smiled once again and pinched the other's cheek, much to his dismay.

"are you sure about that, cutie? don't say things you know you won't do-"

"do not think for a split second about tainting me," the adeptus threatened once again, grabbing kazuha's hands and pinning him against the seats of the couch. the two had forgotten about y/n and albedo, who were now looking dumbfounded at the two boyfriends being rather close to each other.

"y/n, i think you should go tame the two," albedo suggested, laughing nervously at how sudden the atmosphere in the room became too tight.

y/n shook their head absentmindedly, completely forgetting about the prank they were supposed to be doing. "yeah... i think i will..."

albedo nodded and left the living room, most likely to locate where his younger sister was. meanwhile, xiao was inching closer and closer to kazuha's face. the pinned down boy kept a stoic look on his face, knowing that xiao wasn't going to harm him in any sort of way.

'WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF BL DRAMA AM I WITNESSING RIGHT NOW?'

"what's a bl drama?"

"DID I SAY THAT OUT LOUD?"

• y/n nervously told xiao to knock it off
• ended up getting pinned to the couch like kazuha did
• y/n had to apologize to a sulky & jealous xiao
• "april fools! sorry for not telling you it was a joke earlier"

"never mind!"
• the three cuddled together on the couch and watched 'forecasting love and weather' (nova recommends this kdrama because it's very sweet and sentimental (?))
• albedo is like those background characters that go "ah, young love... when will it be my turn"
