Sweeter than a Victory "Lando Norris"

Testing

It was the first day of testing and Aria was anxious about seeing Lando again. She said that she would hangout with him at some point during testing, but she got more nervous of seeing him again by the second. She knew she had a huge crush on him and little did she know that he did too.

LANDO POV

I was excited to go to testing today. The morning session went rather well and the afternoon was for Carlos. I went back to my driver's room to see a message from Lewis.

Lewis: Hey, I thought you might want Aria's info to contact her so here you go. (gives info)

Lando: Thanks Lewis, I appreciate it a lot.

I didnt know if I should text her or not because one she doesnt know i have her number and two it would be awkward because i really like her even though i have barely spoken to her.

Lando: is this aria

Aria: um yeah, who is this?

Lando: its lando, lewis gave me your number, i hope you dont mind

Aria: oh hi lando! you did good in testing today, congrats! and i dont mind lol

Lando: I wanted to know if you were doing anything tonight because i dont drive this afternoon and i can leave the paddock.

Aria: sure i'd love to do something with you, whatcha thinking?

Lando: we could go to the beach or maybe dinner?

Aria: why not a picnic on the beach?

My eyes widened. She just thought of a super cute romantic date, if this even was a date.

Lando: yeah for sure! i can pick u up tonight if u want.

Aria: sure thanks! see you around 5?

Lando: sure! see you then

I was about to go on a date, or hangout with my crush and i realized that i didnt have anything cute to wear.

ARIA POV

Did i just think of that idea of a picnic at the beach? was it like a date or what? idk
