You wake up to a note on the side table.

Goodmorning, love. I hope you had a good night's sleep. Get dressed and ready and meet me at the park down the road. We have a fun day ahead of us. I love you. See you soon,

You get beyond excited wondering what it could be. Your mind immediately goes to "PROPOSAL?!"
But calm yourself down thinking "It's probably just a special date day. Which are always so much fun"

So you get dressed and ready for the day. You put on your favorite outfit and head down the road.

You see Lena sitting in the grass field with a bouquet of flowers and a picnic cloth below her. She comes rushing over to you.

Lena: Goodmorning, Love! You look so beautiful. I see you read my note!

Y/n: Yes I did! So what's going on here?

Lena: Well, if you couldn't tell already... We're having a picnic. (She winks teasingly) And then we are going to do some other fun things the rest of the day!

You find her excitment adorable and give her a kiss. She hands you the flowers and holds out her hand curtsying, and you walk to the beautiful picnic Lena has set up. She has a huge feast in the basket, and some plates set up.

Y/n: (Flattered) When did you have time to do all this?

Lena: Eh I have my ways... And my ways are getting up early this morning to set things up.

Her joking honesty amuses you.

Y/n: I'm so thankful for you, Love.

Lena: And I'm thankful for you.

The day goes on and it couldn't be more perfect. After the picnic, the you two go downtown and do a little shopping. You walk around just talking and enjoying each other's company. You visit multiple little shops. You stop into one shop and are looking around.

Lena: I have to step out forjusta moment. (Making a dramatic face) I'll be right back!

You see her practically running to the restroom. You giggle to yourself and notice a hat store across the street. One bucket hat strikes you. You contemplate a little, then run across the street to get to the hat. It has an adorable design on it you know Lena will love so you buy it and hurry back to the other store.

You get back just in time. Lena's walking out of the restroom.

Y/n: Hey Babe! I have something for you.

Lena: Really? What is it? (She says playfully doubtful)

Y/n: Oh stop!

You take the bucket hat out from behind your back and hold it out for Lena.

Lena: Wha- You didn't have to!

Y/n: Please, you planned this whole day. It's the least I can do. Plus, I just really love you.

Lena: That's just how I remind you I live you. I love you more

You two walk out of the shop and head to one last stop for the day.

You and Lena sit down on a swing set at the park.

Y/n: Lena,

Lena: What's up, Love?

Y/n: Thank you so much for today.

She leans her headagaibst the swing chain, looking at you.

Lena: Of course, it's been so much fun.

She turns her swing around and moves closer to you. You are both facing each other, and she looks you deep in the eyes. Sheplaces her hands on your thighs and smiles softly.

Y/n: I really want to kiss you

Lena: I know, I want to kiss you.

You two share a passionate yet calm kiss. You get up and walk tothe field of the park and lay down. The sun is now starting to set. You two lay down on the side of a hill and gaze up at the sky. There are huge, fluffy clouds.

Y/n: I see a dolphin!

Lena: I see a bird with a parachute?

Y/n: *laughing* A bird with a parachute? I see a butterfly.

You go on to name random things you see in the clouds for multiple minutes.

Lena: I see a cactus

Y/n: I see a flower

Lena: I see a ring!

You look to Lena confused, but still entranced by her gaze.

Y/n: What did you say you see?

Lena repeats, "I see a ring." And she reaches for her pocket, and smoothly pulls out a velvet case. Your heart is beating fast and you become anxious.

Y/n: Lena?

Lena: Y/n, I am so deeply in love with you. I know we are young, and if you aren't ready, I completely understand.

Lena's POV: Damn, I hope she says yes.

Lena: You remind me every day how lucky I am to have you in my life. And I hope this will be a reminder to you...
