Y/n: I- could never say no!

Lena smiles the biggest smile you've ever seen on her face. She puts the ring on your finger and kisses your hand. You jump into Lena's arms and start kissing her.

Y/n's POV: What is happening? I am so beyond happy. Ugh I've been waiting for this moment!!

Y/n: I love it!

Lena (Twirling you around): I'm so glad. I love you so much, and I have been waiting to ask you for so long.

A curious look crosses your face.

Y/n: Wait, does this mean you were planning this when I brought it up?

Lena: Yes, and it was so hard to say what I did. But I couldn't ruin the surprise!

Y/n: Okay okay fair enough. (Laughing)

You both burst out into laughter uncontrollably and Lena stops and looks into your eyes.

Lena: I'm so thankful for you and everything we have done together. I don't know what I would've done if you said no.

Y/n: I would never say no. And you'd understand...

A silent wind sweeps between you too. Lena says nothing.

Y/n: But there's no need to because I couldn't be more happy.

Still looking you in the eyes and smiling,

Lena: I love you

Y/n: I love you

Lena smiles lies down on the grassy hill. Her short blonde hair falling to the grass, and exposing her jawline. The last bit of sun shines through her hazel eyes and highlights her lips.

Y/n's POV: She looks so perfect

You roll over so you are laying right next to her.

Y/n: Hey (You say jokingly and flirtatiously)

You both giggle and you flip over so that you are now on top of her.

Y/n: May I kiss you?

Lena: Duh? (Smiling)

You both lean in and push your lips together. She places one hand on your neck and face and the other on your waist. Your arms are laid across her. One hand on her shoulder the other on her face. You are in a complete serene state of mind. You two stay there for a while appreciating each other's warmth. You pull away and you both smile. A mischievous look crosses Lena's face.

Y/n: What?

Lena grabs your shoulders and you two start rolling down the hill. You laugh uncontrollably as you roll down holding onto Lena. You reach the bottom of the hill, and you don't realize that you keep holding onto Lena even after you've stopped rolling.

Lena: Hey, Love, it's over.

You open one eye then sit up quickly.

Y/n: I knew that!

Lena sits up and does that thing with her hair that you love. She smiles at you. You focus on her more. Your eyes meet her enchanting gaze. She tilts her head slightly and places her hand on your cheek.

Lena: Darling, you're glowing.

She looks at you with love in her eyes and places her forehead on yours. You stay like this with your eyes closed for a minute, you had shifted into her lap. She hugs you tight and kisses your nose. It takes a lot to let go, but you do.

Lena: You ready to go home?

Y/n: Ya, I think so.

Lena drives home. The whole car ride she has her hand on your thigh and your hands on top of hers.

When you open the door, you're greeted by Casey and Izzy as always. Lena picks them up and hugs them then sets them down. She smiles big as she lifts you up and twirls you around.

Y/n: Ah, Lena! Put me down!

Lena: Alright

You look at her and giggle. You quickly take her hand and run to the kitchen and sit her down in a chair. You sit across from her. You put your hands out and she holds them.

Y/n: So who are we going to tell first?

Lena: Hmm, I haven't really thought about that... Whoever you feel is right. I want everyone to know.

Y/n: Even the internet?

Lena: Well, I guess... I don't really know.

There's a moment of silence.

Lena: I want them to know, but I'm also scared. It could change a lot of things. Announcing that I'm engaged all of a sudden when I haven't even been open about who I am. -

You interrupt her.

Y/n: Hey, it's okay if you're not ready. Family and friends are the most important of people to know. But most of all, we both have to be comfortable. There is no reason to rush into something you aren't ready for. Besides, what is going on with you, is your business.

Lena gets a small smile on her face.

Lena: You're right. Thank you.

Y/n: Of course. Now do you wanna watch a movie or do something else?

Lena: Whatever you want (She winks)

You take her hand and lead her to the bedroom. (Whatever you want happens now)

You fall asleep in each other's arms. You feel as though everything that could have gone right today, went right. It has been such a surreal day. And it couldn't have been more perfect.
