You arrive at the restaurant.

Your POV: I see Lena walking up to the front doors. Should I wait for her, or find a table? *You decide to wait for her* Deep breaths. Collect yourself. What's the worst that can happen? She sees the true awkward, goofy you?

*You greet Lena at the entrance and get a table. She goes in for a comfortable hug and you say hello. Which is odd because Lena doesn't usually like to be touched by people she doesn't know well.*

Lena's POV: Wow, I am usually uncomfortable with people I'm not familiar with touching me, but she feels...different. I want to keep hugging her, but don't want to make it awkward. Just let go.

*The two of you sit down. You have to initiate the conversation*

Y/n: It's a shame Lisa had to stay at home. But it gives us a chance to know more about each other, right?

Lena: Yup, for sure!

Y/n: I have been meaning to ask you where you got that shell necklace from?

Lena: Oh, my mum got it for me. *she appears to intensely focus on finding something to say* I really like your charm bracelet, it's cool.

You giggle at her awkwardness thinking it's cute and reply with a brief, "Thanks!"

Lena: So where did you come here from?

Y/n: I came here from America.

Lena: Really? Your German is so good, I thought you may be from here!

Y/n: Haha, where are you from?

Lena: I'm from a small village near Stuttgart! Still in Germany, but a ways away from here.

*For the remainder of dinner you and Lena talk about anything and everything having to do with your lives.*

Lena's POV: Damn, it's getting late. The restaurant is going to close soon. Ugh, I wish I could stay here chatting all night.

*Lena looks at the time*

Lena: Oh damn, it's really late! We should probably get going. Lisa might start to worry.

Y/n: You're right! Wow, I completely lost track of time!

Your POV: I want to ask to go out with her again. Just do it!

*You guys start to walk back. You find out you are staying even closer than you thought! Just a couple doors down from one another.*

About to part ways you say, "We should do this again sometime soon!"

*You anticipate her answer as there is nothing but silence.*

Lena: Ya, for sure! That would be pretty cool.

*She winks*

You manage to say goodnight and not melt away until getting back to the house.

Your POV: I can't wait for tomorrow.
