Rapunzel's Life (Rewritten)

Chapter 10

The next day, Will orders more clothes, cribs, strollers, diapers, car seats, and every other item that they need more of to make sure that they have enough for all of the babies that Lily and Rapunzel are carrying. After everything is ordered, Will goes into the living room to see Rapunzel watching mickey mouse clubhouse with Lily.

Lily. Hey love. Did you get everything ordered that we needed?

Will. Yes. Everything should be here by the end of the week.

Lily. Perfect. Do you want to watch TV with us? We're watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Will. Sure.

Will sits down between Lily and Rapunzel. What adventure is Mickey and his friends going on this time?

Rapunzel. They are going to Pete's house to get their instruments back for the concert that they are going to have. Pete is a very sneaky cat.

Will. Yes he is. Do you think they will get the instruments back in time for the concert?

Rapunzel. I think so. They can't have a concert without their instruments, and if there is no concert, then their guests will be sad.

Lily. Well they don't want that do they?

Rapunzel. No they don't. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto want their guests to be happy.

Lily. Why do you say Pluto?

Rapunzel. Because he can use his barking and howling skills to make music.

Will. That is very cool. Which character do you like the most?

Rapunzel. Minnie Mouse.

Lily. She is pretty isn't she?

Rapunzel. Yes she is.

The three of them continue watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse for a while until lunch is ready. They eat a lunch consisting of fried chicken tenders, green beans, and carrots. After lunch, they have a fruit salad for their snack. When they finish, they put the dishes in the sink to be washed and go into their backyard and play on the play structure. The go on the slide, swings, and play pretend in the playhouse. They have hours of fun but then go back inside to have dinner.

Their dinner consists of spaghetti with meatballs and pizza. They also have peas, corn, and mashed potatoes for the sides. For dessert, they each have a slice of chocolate cake. Once dinner and dessert is finished, the three of them put the dishes away, change into their night clothes, snuggle under the covers, and fall asleep.

Five weeks later, Lily, Rapunzel, and Will are waiting in the waiting room of the hospital. They are going in for a check-up to make sure the babies are growing healthy and strong.

The family is soon taken back to an ultrasound room and are met by Victoria and Patricia.

Patricia. Hello everyone. How are you all doing today? I'm sorry I was not here for the previous appointment. I was attending my sister's wedding.

Lily. We are doing well. And congratulations to your sister.

Patricia. Thank you. So today is your 15 week check up. This is just to see how the babies are doing and make sure they are growing healthy and strong.

Rapunzel. Nurse Patricia?

Patricia. Yes Ms. Johnson?

Rapunzel. I just wanted to tell you that I have four babies and mommy has two babies.

Patricia. That's really cool. Did Doctor Victoria tell you about the five week check ups?

Lily. Yes. She said that they are to monitor the babies and she also said that we find out the genders at 20 weeks and at 28 weeks we have the gestational diabetes test.

Patricia. That's right. Victoria should be here soon to assist in the ultrasounds.

Victoria arrives two minutes later with he machines and sets them up. Victoria checks the twins and Patricia checks the quads. They listen to the heartbeats and then print the pictures. The pictures of the twins are given to Lily and the pictures of the quads are given to Rapunzel.

Victoria. The babies are doing very well. They are growing healthy and strong and their heartbeats are strong as well.

Patricia. You are both doing wonderful at growing these babies. So at 20, you will be able to find out the genders of the babies. And then you have the 25 week, 28 week, 30 week and 35 week check ups. You're free to go. Have a nice day.

Will. Thank you. And you too.

The family leaves the room and goes to the front desk. They schedule their appointment for December 18th, 2021 and then leave the hospital and get into their car.
