KARNA - MAHADEV'S DECIPLE

CORONATION

After the duel karna and Bheeshma left to freshen up. After two hours the Rajya sabha will be organised. Everyone was still talking about fight between them. The kuru vansha were especially intrigued. The Kauravas and Pandavas were talking among themselves about Karna. Parshuram went to palce for rest he decided to do coronation ceremony for karna. Adhiratha and Radha were also invited but the politely declined as they didn't want to cause problems. Crowd dispersed and royals went to palace.

In Duryodhana's chamber.

Duryodhana : Mitra Ashwatthama, kya vichar hai tum hara Karn ke vishay mein.
(Friend Ashwatthama, what do you think about karna.)

Ashwatthama : Mitra, Adbhoot Yodha hai Angraj karna. Maine abhi tak apne jeevan mein aisa romanchak dwandh nai dekha.
( Friend, he is a great warrior, till date I didn't saw such intriguing fight.)

Dussashan : Sahi kah rahe hai Ashwatthama jyeshtha.
( Ashwatthama is right elder brother)

Duryodhana (raised his eyebrows): Oh! Kya woh keval ek daridra suta nahi hai ab.
( Oh! Isn't he just Poor charioteer son now)

Dussashan : Hum sabhi ko apni galti ka bhan hai.
(We know our mistakes)

Duryodhana : Hmmm.

Ashwatthama : Hamein karna se mitrataa kr leni chahiye. Duryodhana tumhe Sinhasan dilane hetu eaisa Yodhaka  humare paksh  mein hona chahiye.
( We should be friends with him. Such powerful warrior should be on your side if you want throne.)

Shakuni who just entered.

Shakuni : Satyavachan, Dronputr. Bhanje, Ashwatthama sahi keh raha hai, karn koi sadharan Yodha nahi hai agar tum yuvraj banna chahte to use apne paksh ke n le lo.
(True word son of drona, nephew he right karna is not a simple warrior you should try and get him on your side)

Dhuryodhana : Woh toh main hi hai parantu kaise.
( That is alright but how)

Shakuni : Putra, Samarthyawan ke samarthya ko maan lo aur izzat do tum swam ko uska Mitra bana loge . Karna lalchi nahi hai warna aaj pratiyogita nahi hoti wo khusi se anga desh ka raja ban chuka hota. Gangaputr Bheeshma ke vachan khali nahi jata mere bachche.
(Respect the warrior's valour you wiil be his friend. Karna is not greedy as he could have become the king of anga easily with Bheeshma words there was no need for competition today. Bheeshma words carries such weight son)

Duryodhana : sahi keh rahe hai aap mamashree , Dussashan tum aur baki sab Karna se sambandh sudarane ka pyatn karo, ho sake to Kshama bi maang lo mai karna ko apne paksh mein chahta hoo. Ya kam se kam un Pandavas ke pask mein nahi.
( You are right uncle, Dussashan you along with other tries to mend relationship between Kauravas and karna. I want him on our side at least not on Pandavas side. Say sorry if necessary.)

Dussashan : Ji jyeshtha.
( Yes, brother)

Ashwatthama : Uchit keh rahe ho Duryodhana. Mai bhi usse Mitrata karoonga, usne Aaj Pitashree ko yah sidh kar diya ki Arjun sarvashrest dhanurdhar nahi.
( Yes tatha right, I will also befriend him too. He broke father's declaration of Arjun being best archer)

Everyone laughed and and agreed. Kauravas were not evil. They were loyal to his eldest brother. Being ignored since by birth and considered as bad omen. They got love from only their elder brother. The will decent to hell if Duryodhana wishes them to be.

Pandavas were also talking about karna in Yudhishthir's room.

Yudhishthir : kya vichar hai tum sab ka.
(Why do you all think)

Nakul : Mujhe to abbi tak viswas nahi ho raha ki ek sutputra can fight at that level with pitamah
( I can't believe that a charioteer son can fight grandee at that level)
