Light ??
“What is Light?”
It's a globe of energy that shines bright
Isn't that right?
The air whispers - no child
“It's much more than sunlight,
It's a blessing which makes your soul ignite...!!”
So, with an open heart,
I start to write..
Light is the swirl of dreams and passion
We desire on a sleepy night;
The struggle we endure
From stepping stones to shine in limelight..!!
Light is the ray of hope
In a lover waiting under the twilight;
That one day against all odds
They will meet under the stars to unite..!!
Light is acceptance of a family
With no judgement and harsh spotlight;
It's a virtue no one can replace
Even from the depths of heaven or hell with a flashlight..!!
Light is the candle of faith
In the brave heart of a knight;
His trust in the power above
To conquer the demons of a fight..!!
Light is splash of colourful culture
We celebrate every fortnight;
It's the smile of a child
His wild hair while flying a kite..!!
Light is the smell of an age old book
Which I believe is my kryptonite;
Its the ocean of words
Weaving in a poem I’m writing tonight..!!
