Today somebody asked me,
"What is poetry?"
I started giving her the standard answer, that "poetry consists of a few lines with rhyming words with some kind of message and..."
I saw she was not really satisfied with my answer, so I take a deep breath changed my answer to the real one-
"Poetry cannot be defined as a definition, it is not just a word but an emotion."
"Poetry is an expression of freedom, it is how you express your feelings passionately."
"Poetry is rhythmic and it flows through our mind"
"Poetry is a bookmark to one's emotion."
"Poetry paints a picture that shows us the world."
That lady was smiling and said-
"You just told me the real meaning of poetry through a poetry"
