Y/n's pov

Today was Ellinior's birthday. I wore a normal dress not wanting to dress something extravagant. I chose to wear a normal formal outfit. White blouse which drapped down your shoulder. A black bow adoring the drape. A black mid-thigh skirt. Black boots and a necklace.

Arthur was welcoming the guests while I was helping the servants. I was flooded with boys asking me different questions like :
What's your name?
What's your age?
Do you have boyfriend?
I just smiled and ignored them.

Soon the Princess entered. "Happy birthday Eleanor!" We all wished. I was with Elijah since he was rejected by almost all of the girls. No one wanted to dance with him. Poor boy. But me being a good friend stayed with him. Many boys were looking at me with red face. Do all of them have fever?

Arthur pov

My dad announced that me and Ellie were going to dance. I am glad those ballroom classes will come in use now. I went near Ellie and said " Will you honor me with your hand for dance?" She hesitated but took my hand.

When the music started to play everything under us looked like we were dancing on clouds I smiled knowing who was behind this. When I twirled Ellie in mid air with my wind magic, Snowflakes were decending. Many applause were heard. Ellie had a smile on her face because with her magic it looked we were in a picture book.

A smile came across my face. Seeing her squeezing my sister face with her own. "Eleanor is looking sooooo beautiful!!!!" I heard her say and others were happily laughing with her. She don't really act like a child so it's different to see her behave like this. Like a child.

Gideon was following me for quite a while but then he was engaged with the people around. Perks of being famous. I looked around and saw y/n was surrounded by boys. They were introducing themselves, taking her hand and giving a kiss. It was a simple gentleman gesture but I didn't liked it.

Forgetting all the lady like manners she started many jokes and teasing boys. They were seemed to have good laugh. I was feeling a bit of jealous but she needed this. There is something she is stressed over. But for some reason she isn't telling me anything. I respect her choices.

"Arthur!" I heard someone say my name. I turned to the owner of voice and there was lilia. She have grown from the little girl she was. I can totally see she was flustered around me.

"Mind if I borrow this boy?" Gideon interrupted. Soon lilia left and I was left with this old geezer.

"You're pretty popular with ladies though. That girl just now seemed to have a crush on you." He stated. "I know." I said and took a sip of my vine.

" You two seem to get along. You're not going to do anything about it? " He asked. He is asking too many questions I dont know if he is love God or a scientist.

"She's someone whose life has been changed by me. Her feelings towards me aren't like or love but gratitude. She don't know now but in the future I'm sure she'll be able to distinguish that what she's feeling now is an infatuation that a damsel might have towards a hero." I Stated calmly. "Is that so then what does this love mean to you cheeky brat?" He asked again.

I looked straight up and was meet with my love. She was fixing Ellie's dress with a huge smile adoring her face. They seem to get along pretty well. She looked in my direction and our eyes met. She smiled brightly and walked near me.

"Ah...what did I do to owe an pleasure to be in presence of you Princess." I teased her a bit not expecting her to do something like this. She brought our forehead together and with her angelic voice said "Even If there are different beautiful places to go. I'll always return to my home y'know. And you are my home dummy!" She said with a small tint of redness. She smiled lightly and pulled me down to her height and gave a quick peck to side of my lip. Since I titled a bit and ran away.

"I get now what you mean by love. And seems like you have someone to love too." Gideon said clearly his throat. I blushed a bit after hearing y/n's words in mind playing again and again.
