Nate pov

I went in my shared room with Tess. I saw her getting ready for today's party. I sighed knowing this isn't going to be like she wants.

I sat on the edge of my bed and asked "Tess what if Arthur isn't meant of you?" I asked she quickly turned letting the hood fall from her head. "What do you mean? He loves me. He even agreed to hang out with me." "You're too naive sister. He said he will allow you to love. Not that he loves you." I said.

"What are you trying to say brother. I can't make Arthur fall for me?" She confronted with raising her voice. "More or less.What if he is already fallen for someone and there is no coming back." She stared at my face and slowly furrowed her eyebrows and said "he doesn't love her. It's just friendship. She is avoiding him that's why he is trying to get her.......attention. "

"Have you ever noticed how Art is when y/n is around him. The smile he wears. The way his eyes always lands on her. The way he mistook you for Y/n......" I listed out whatever I know unknowingly a single tear fall from my eyes. "You should see how they look at each other." I dryly chuckled at my remark and remember how they look at each other with pure love. Like nothing in this world matter.

I stood and saw tess was sitting on her stool with furrowed eyebrows. "Think about it. In today's party. He might try to make a move on her to make things better. You can see it for yourself. And decide what you want to do." I near her and crouched in front of her and took her hand in my.

"I am telling you this because you are naive about love. I don't want to you be hurt. I know you won't be able to handle if things were to go wrong. That's why I am telling you to decide today. Can you do it?" She was crying but she managed to nod. I  stood with small smile and gave her a forehead kiss.
