3rd pov

After Art's class Y/n was asked to help Nate with his beast core. "That must be good for today!" She said and Plopped myself beside him. "Y/n why do you care about Arthur so much?" Nate asked her.

She blinked in confusion and then smiled at him. "He is my home after all~"

He looked in her eye and she could see he was hurt after hearing this. "But why? What makes him that? I can do that do!" He exclaimed. She cupped his left cheek and said "You know you can't make a new house easily but it won't be home unless it has something you want to treasure. I might fall for you but you won't be able to replace him Nate."

"But why is he you home there must be a reason?" He asked still hope filled in his eyes.

"I don't think I need a reason to love someone. How I a describe this.......When I hear his name, I can see his face. Everytime that happens me chest tightens and my heart starts to flutter. He is constantly on my mind. The feeling which I have for him just increases day by day even if I know he won't give them back. And I don't even expect him to reciprocate them. I just hope that he doesn't distance himself from me." Y/n said with a fond smile on her face.

She sighed and removed her hand and continued "But it's just too hard for us to stay together. Something it feels like suffocating. And I want to clear this."

"You're fine with your feeling not being reciprocated? It's gonna be painful in the end. " He asked concerned about her getting hurt.

"Like I said I'm fully aware of what I am saying. I just want to protect his smile. Or the reason why he smile. I figured rejection would hurt but not being able to see his smile would hurt even more. And If anything happened I know you will be there for me." She said and gave him a close eyed smile. He too gave a soft smile knowing that she has already fell in deep love and there is no coming back.

She stood up and dusted her cloths "I am willing to endure the ache of not having my feelings reciprocated. This unconditional love can't be changed. It might just get buried deep down in my heart." She sighed and said "Anyways let's go Goodsky called us in Arthur training ground"

She forced a smile on her face trying her hard not to cry. The boy just looked at her and thought 'Why didn't I have someone who love me like that?' And stood up to leave.
