We went behind the Gym and took the entrance to the 6th Grade building.
Once we reached one of the rooms which look abandoned, we settled down, took a break and reflected on what just happened today.
"Goverment" David said to break the silence.
"What?" I asked. "The Goverment did this" he said. "I mean, who else could be this able to send a mass infection this fast? Its gotta be the Goverment"
"Gotta agree with you, David, the Goverment probably did this, Im gonna murder those people!" Etheine said.
"Lets conspire against the Goverment later, right now, we gotta hold our ground, get some people, and get outta here" I said.
"Wjy not just leave now?, before this gets out of hand?" David asked.
"Cause, this infection that causes to reanimate the dead could be spread everywhere, we are going to get eaten alive if we go out. If we can make it 50 feet, anyway" I said.
"Lets hold down our ground for now. Barricade the doors, scavenge what we can find here, and think of a way to get out of this shithole" Etheine said.
"Yeah, I could use a change of clothing" David said, looking at his bloodstained clothes.
After awhile, we took a look at what we have.
We had a couple of clothes, just fits right, a small pile of food that could last a week if we ration it, Sharp objects like scissors, cutters, and a swiss knife, some bags for putting our stuff in, and a flashlight with a extra set of batteries.
"We are good for now" David said.
"Yeah, but we gotta find a way out of here, any ideas?" I asked.
"The windows, we could open them out to get down" Etheine recommended.
"Great idea, but the windows are barred" David said.
"Do you still have the power saw? Just simply cut through it and we will be fine" I said.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that" David said.
We got to work on the window. We plugged the power saw and started removing metal.
"Weird, electricity is still on"David said curiosly.
"Dont jinx it man, it might go out" I said.
After we finished all the lights went out and the power saw died.
"Great, were dead" Etheine said miserably.
"Not really, we have at most a few hours of daylight, by then, we should have a place to stay for awhile" I said.
"Who goes first?" David asked
I went out first.
