Chapter 7- Infilration (Part 2- The Plan)

Apologies for publishing 2 of the same chapters :D

Here it is.

As Daving and Etheine were putting up the barricade, Jerome and I were planning for tonight's raid.

"What do you plan to do with these vinegar bottles?" Jerome asked, pointing to them.

"We set them off, and hope the stench deters them long enough to grab their supplies." I said. "And what about the propane tank?" "Set it off aswell if they get too close".

"No, we should not try to hurt them. They are still human. Only use the tank if necessary." Jerome said.

"Fine" I said.

"How do you think we should enter?" I asked.

"We have three choices. The principals office, the windows, or the front door of the faculty room. They all have pros and cons, which you can probably notice. So any is good for me, I guess" Jerome said.

"We have to think about that, but for now, lets break the news to them." I said.

"Agreed" Jerome said, standing up.

We told Etheine and David the plan just as they were finishing the barricades. The barricades were pretty sturdy enough to withstand a few blows, enough for us to retaliate. Immiediately, they agreed to the plan.

"If you want to go to the place you speak of, we might as well grab as much as we can" David said.

"Ok. But here is the problem. Someone has to stay behind. Keep watch for the area. Volunteers?" I asked.

David raised his hand. "Might as well. My entire body aches. Its been awhile since I had this much action.Just make it quick. I dont want to be left alone here."

Just as he spoke, a figure came out of the darkness. We hefted our weapons and aimed at it.

He or she wore a white jacket heavily bloodied from fighting (or he or she is one of them, I dont know), He held a wicked looking blade in his right, and on the other, is that a locker door?

The figure stepped out of the darkness. It was the person we least expected.

It was Mykel.

"The hell, is that you Mykel?" I shouted.

"Unless I changed my name since morning, then yes, its me" He said.

"How did you manage?" David asked, handing him food. "When it started, I got seperated from my group. I grabbed a long knife and a square of a locker door somewere and managed my way out. Took me a while, a large group hunt me down, so I had to take detours to avoid them. Then I found you." Mykel said.

"Your lucky, my group got decimated by those guys. I barely got out" Jerome said.

"Mykel, you are obviously tired, why dont you stay here to stand guard with David? We are raiding their stores and plan to set out after. Want to join us?" I asked him.

"Sure, I would like to rest my bones for a while, been walking all day, not good for my body." He said.

So me, Jerome, and Etheine prepared our gear, vinegar cocktails, a lighter, the propane tank Etheine is lugging, and enough space for us to shove stuff in.

As we headed out, they greeted us good luck.

Lets do this I thought as we headed down to our probable doom.
