-You didn't meet Luke Patterson on purpose
-You had been wandering around the city, trying to find something interesting to photograph
-As lead photographer for the town paper, you were in charge of coming up with stories, and ways of making readers want to pay attention
-As you were walking around, desperate for something to catch your eye, a brown-haired boy had come up to you
-He'd said something about knowing a great story, about how there was this local band that was going to skyrocket in popularity
-He gave you the club they were playing at that evening, and left with a wink
-You didn't have anything better to do, so you'd shown up
-Surprise surprise, guess who's the lead singer of the band? The same boy who'd talked to you before
-You'd dutifully taken your photos of the band, and the smile on that boy when he saw you was almost otherworldly
-He talked to you backstage after the event, and that's when you finally got to figure out who Luke Patterson was and why Sunset Curve was so important
-He asked you out soon after that, and you've been dating ever since
-You definitely fall into the 'tell your friends' habit of Sunset Curve, and do your best to make sure that photos of the band or news of the band's performances make it into the newspaper as often as you can
-Even outside of the paper, though, you like to take photos of Luke anyway
-He's got some of your photos printed out and tucked away in his guitar case, on bulletin boards, hanging up on the walls of his studio
-And, in turn, just as you like to photograph Luke, he likes to write songs about you
-Sometimes, you have quiet nights, with you two curled up together in the studio
-You'll be reviewing the photos you've taken, and Luke will be drumming his fingers against your shoulder or spine as he tries to think of new chord progressions for his songs
-Other nights, you'll be up until what feels like sunrise, when you can't quite convince yourself to go to sleep after a particularly thrilling performance by Sunset Curve
-On those nights, you'll run the town with Luke, figuring out what shops stay open until midnight
-You snap candids of Luke when you think he's not looking, but Luke has definitely also tried to take photos of you
-Soon enough, secretly taken Polaroids appear on the walls of the studio next to your printouts: you, smiling on an ice cream date, you, glancing over Alex or Reggie's shoulder as you examine the latest lyrics, you, with a smile that could light up the sun
-To you, it's like a little love note passed between the two of you: a photo for a song
-It works, and the two of you work, and you couldn't be happier to be with him
