Izuku smiled a bit as he looked out the window; it was a rainy Wednesday afternoon, and classes were about to get out for a long weekend since there was some hero conference and most of the teachers would be busy for those few days. What was even better as he was about to finish the first variation of his new legs. Well, he wasn't planning on cutting off his legs and replacing them, but they would help him walk normally, and they would maybe be discreet enough so you wouldn't be able to see them underneath clothing, and it wouldn't be bulky.
" That should be it," he says as he takes off his leg braces and put on the new things. He smiled a little bit as he looked at the new setup, it was much thinner though it was still a bit bulky, but he could work on that later. All he needed to know was if it worked, he unplugged it from the charging cord with which he had been charging them, and he closed his eyes before standing up. He opened his eyes after a few minutes, and a huge smile took over his face.
" Finally," he says with a big smile, and he took a deep breath, " okay, here we go," he says as he takes a step forward and Surprisingly, he didn't fall; he only stumbled a little bit, and he had to make sure he balanced but he could ballots. He smiled happily and began to walk in small circles keeping his arms out in case you were to fall so he could catch himself on one of the many work tables.
" Good job Midoriya," his teacher says as he looks up from his desk, and he hummed, " you need a bigger testing space; why don't you go test them down the hallways? Just be back by three, " Izuku heard, and he nodded excitedly. His other classmates were hard at work on their assignments, so he didn't feel like bothering them. He walked out of the classroom. The best thing about these new braces was that he could bend his knees, making the walking flow more fluidly. He could also finally run, maybe possibly skip and jog. Well, hopefully, he still had a test that out, but theoretically, he would be able to do that.
Izuku was walking around up and down the halls, not really Paying attention to where he was going. You see, most of the classes would be in session, so he didn't think he would run into anybody. That's why he wasn't looking up. But then he so happens to run face-first into Todorki. He looked up at him, and he smiled since it had been a while since they had last talked " hello there, it's been quite a while since I've ran into you last. How are you doing?" He question.
Todorki nodded, and he looked the boy up and down for a few moments before he spoke again " I'm doing fine, how is your cat?" He asks, and Izuku smiles. His cat was Actually in his dorm room at the moment. Since they weren't staying at their old apartment any more, she got to come with him.
" Peanuts is actually in my dorm," he says " she's been good, she's getting old, but she's still pretty energetic," he says as he looks at the red and white-haired boy standing in front of him. They stood in awkward silence for a few moments before Izuku decided to excuse himself " well, it was great seeing you, and we should definitely hang out sometime," he says with a smile. "I have to head back to class; I'll see you around, Todoroki," he says as he turns on his heels and he walked off down the hall.
Maybe that is how he ended up In this specific situation. He was currently standing outside the movie theater with the same boyfriend before with a half drink and slushy in his hand and 3-D glasses from the movie he had just seen with the boy. " what a great AllMight Movie!" Izuku says as he smiles brightly, and he takes another sip of his blue slushy that has dyed his tongue blue. Todorki nodded in agreement as he looked at the smaller boy.
" It was good," he says as he ate his cold soba out of a plastic baggy that he had snuck on with him. Izuku had Found It a little bit strange that he wanted to eat theater snacks since that's where they were, but he wasn't going to charge since people tend to sneak food into the movie theater all the time. He personally never did it, but he had seen katsuki do it before.
"Thank you for inviting me to this movie, by the way; I never thought that you were a fan of his. In the few times I met you, I would've thought your dad would've never even let you see any AllMight Merchandise at all, but it's nice to see those another fan !" He says happily.
Todorki nodded again, and he looked at his watch. "I guess you could call me a fanboy though I don't think I messed dedicated to the following as you and Bakugou," he says, and Izuku laughed a bit.
"You could be a big fanboy. I'm pretty sure you'll turn into one if you keep hanging around me. I've been told I talk a lot about AllMight," he says Before going quiet. They seem to do this a lot. They were talking and then fell into an awkward silence when neither of them knew what to say.
"Are you heading back to the dorms right now?" The boy masks in the green-haired boy shook his head no.
"I actually have an order to do, to make some extra money. I've been making inventions for people who need help with their quirks, I thought I could make a company when I graduate that deals with special orders " he smiled as he held up a small box "I have to go drop this off at the location " he smiled, and the boy nodded.
"I would offer to take you, but I have to go train. I'll see you around, " Todorki says, and Izuku nodded his head, waving to the boy as he left
