Here we go again, Luna thought wearily as she followed Kid, Liz and Patty into the Academy. Back into the terrifying maze they call a school hallway.

"YAAAAAHOOOOOOOO!!!" a loud voice exclaimed from above. Before Luna could look up, a sudden force fell down in front of her, nearly knocking her and some of the floor back.

"DAMMIT, YOU DID IT AGAIN! WHY DID YOU BREAK THE ACADEMY'S SYMMETRY?!" Kid screamed erratically. "YOU BETTER PUT IT BACK AND FIX IT RIGHT NOW OR YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING, BLACKSTAR!"

BlackStar, Luna thought, stepping back. Of course it's this guy.

"I want a fight, new kid," BlackStar declared, ignoring Kid and looking at Luna, who backed away a little more.

A crowd suddenly circled the two, blocking any exit. No, no, no, no, no! Luna screamed internally, hyperventilating.

She wanted to die. Again.

"C'mon, new kid. Fight me," BlackStar smirked, cracking his knuckles.

Luna swallowed the growing lump in her throat as she blinked her tears away.

"U-Um...no."

A collective gasp spread out through the crowd as they whispered and stared at Luna. Behind her, Kid and Liz facepalmed while Patty was clutching her stomach, laughing hysterically.

Her stomach churned. Did I say something wrong? Did I do something wrong? What did I do? Somebody tell me! What did I do? she thought, panicking.

BlackStar's eyes narrowed. "You've got nerve to say no to someone as big as me," he growled, balling a fist.

Luna laughed, her voice quavering slightly. "Funny how you manage to get on all those nerves," she managed to say without stuttering.

"SHUT UP!" BlackStar lunged at Luna, his left hand crackling a suspicious greenish-yellow. A few students stepped back quickly.

Luna clenched her jaw, standing her ground despite her shaking knees. OK, just...wait for it...wait for it...she told herself.

BlackStar was bringing his open palm closer to her. Luna shut her eyes and bolted forward. She drew her head back, teeth gritted.

BAM!

BlackStar was knocked backwards, his forehead throbbing painfully as he crashed to the ground.

"What the hell was that?!" he yelled, standing up once more.

Luna's forehead throbbed slightly but she dismissed it, making the pain disappear. "I hit you. What else did I do?" Luna shrugged, trying to keep an indifferent disposition.

BlackStar growled under his breath. Once again, he charged at her, his hand crackling with that weird spark.

Luna drew her breath in sharply. Immediately, her senses picked up large amounts of water moisture in the air. Distraction. I just need a distraction, Luna thought.

"BLACKSTAR BIG WAVE!"

A large plume of fog suddenly appeared, obscuring everyone's sight in the area. BlackStar stopped in his tracks as he nearly drove his wavelength into another student.

Luna however was nowhere to be found.

"What the hell?!" everyone screamed. "What just happened?!"

Kid and a few others, despite the chaos, pushed themselves out of the crowd. "Incredible," he whispered under his breath. A small cloud on Earth surrounded the students. Incredible was the only way to put it.

"I know, right?" someone behind him laughed nervously.

Kid whirled around, seeing Luna standing there. "What the--? How did you--?"

"There you are, you little punk!" a loud, obnoxious voice interrupted. The fog cloud had finally cleared and the panic had subsided amongst their viewers.

Luna shrieked, ready to flee, but BlackStar wasn't to be fooled twice.

He sidestepped around Kid, grabbing Luna by the collar of her sweatshirt and lifting her off of the ground.

"Hey--wh--wh--aah!" Luna stuttered, struggling against his grip. Her legs kicked at the air, desperate to feel good ol' terra firma.

BlackStar cackled. "I knew the day would come when I'd find an opponent smaller than me!" he grinned.

Everyone looked alarmed. Luna panicked, hyperventilating as she felt tears well up in her eyes.

"BlackStar, I think that's enough," Luna could recognize Tsubaki's attempts to stop the whole ordeal.

"Not until the little punk says she surrenders!" BlackStar persisted, presenting a challenge.

"OK, OK, I SURRENDER, I SURRENDER!" Luna shouted, almost at the verge of tears.

BlackStar's previously triumphant grin subsided into a confused expression. "What? Seriously?" he questioned, dropping Luna on the ground. "You're not even going to put up a fight?"

Luna nodded, getting up slowly. She felt like fainting.

"Tch. You're not a worthy opponent for someone as big as me," BlackStar said dismissively. "I'm out."

The sigh of relief rippled throughout the crowd. "At least he didn't kill her," some whispered, throwing Luna pitiful glances.

In all honesty, Luna didn't care. At least I'm out of BlackStar's frankly traumatizing death grip, Luna thought as she stared at the ground.

"Hey, you OK?" someone asked. Luna looked up to see a white-haired boy with amazing red eyes and a sandy blonde-haired girl wearing pigtails staring down at her.

"Mmhmm," Luna nodded, feeling herself flush involuntarily as she picked herself up.

"Sorry about BlackStar and his picking fights," the pigtail girl shrugged. "Honestly, if that idiot saw his own reflection, he'd pick a fight with it."

"Can't say I'd blame him, though," the boy added casually. "BlackStar's got a bit of a reputation to hold up here. Big man, big stage."

Luna nodded again, feeling a drop of sweat run down the side of her face. She wanted to say something to add to the conversation.

But before she opened her mouth to say something, her surroundings went black with more voices surrounding her, both yelling and whispering, "Somebody get Nygus!" and "Please don't die."

A/N: Welp, that happened to our socially anxious little hero.

I'm really sorry for not updating in quite sometime. It's 4/13 and it's basically full moon for us Homestucks.

OK, thanks for reading!
