I hate crowded hallways! I hate crowded hallways! I! Hate! Crowded! Hallways! Luna practically screamed in her head as they went through the hallways of Death Weapon Meister Academy.

Class had barely gotten out and quite a lot of people were walking through them.

Immediately, Luna's heart rate increased drastically. She could feel her palms turn cold and clammy. Her breaths became short and rapid.

God, she hated her social anxiety. At first she labeled it as being awkward around people, or just being plain nervous. But being nervous in every single social situation she faced? That wasn't the case anymore. There was a very big difference between awkward and anxious.

"Hey, Luna, are you OK?" Liz asked, jolting her out of her thoughts.

No, Luna thought. I don't ever want to go through these halls ever. Get me out of here!

"Yes," Luna replied. "Just fine. Perfectly fine."

Liz raised an eyebrow. "You sure? You look like you're being sent to some type of torture chamber," she asked once more.

This in itself is torture, Luna thought.

"Positive," she answered.

"Hurry up, ladies!" Kid called out, beckoning them to quicken their pace. "My father's expecting us right now. We can't make him wait too long!"

~~~~
"Hello, hello, hello!" a dark, hooded figure wearing a goofy skull mask greeted them.
"Hello, Dad," Kid replied.
"Hi, sir!" the rest chimed in.
"Nice to see you all back, safe and sound," he added. "And I see you've brought back our guest!" He waved to Luna with a large, square hand. "Hiii!!!"
Luna waved back from behind Patty. "Hello," she squeaked out before clearing her throat and repeating herself in a louder voice.
"Not much of a talker, are you?" Lord Death observed, an almost comical sweat drop running down the side of his face.
"I-I--! H-Hey! I-I can talk!" Luna protested.
"With all that stuttering, you hardly are, shorty," BlackStar huffed dismissively.
"I can't believe you sent me and Tsubaki to get a twelve-year-old from the airport," he said to Lord Death, an almost accusing tone evident in his voice.
Luna reddened once more. "Wh-No! Don't call me a shorty! I am not short! And for your information, I'm not twelve. I'm fourteen," she retorted defensively. "So quit assuming stuff!"
"To be honest, I sort of assumed you were twelve, too," Liz shrugged.
"Saaaaame," Patty sang, mussing up Luna's hair.
Kid ignored the argument going on behind him and looked at his father. "So, Dad, why did you ask for Luna, anyway?" he asked.
Lord Death's demeanor instantly became serious. "I'm going to need to talk to Luna alone, if you don't mind," he told all of them. "So go on ahead and enjoy the rest of the day!"
"Bye!" they all said, waving. BlackStar narrowed his eyes at Luna and punched his fist towards his palm. That earned him a quick swat on the head from Patty, who immediately pointed to Kid when he turned around.
Luna giggled, turning her gaze up to Lord Death's eyeholes. Man, he was tall. Like, super tall. Luna estimated him to be about 8 or 9 feet tall. Crazy.
