Chapter 10

"Good morning, Blossom! Did you get a good sleep?"

I hugged my dog and kissed him on his forehead.

What a mood to start a day.

Katatapos ko lang maligo. I was still wrap around by the towel and my hair as well. Nasa loob ng kwarto ko si Blossom simula pa kagabi. He was actually beside me until I fell asleep while reminiscing the happenings last night.

It feels surreal.

Sinigurado ko kung totoo ba ang mga pangyayaring 'yon paggising ko o isa na namang panaginip pero.. totoong-totoo ang mga 'yon!

We literally exchanged kisses last night.

"Blossom.. what do you think about that kisses? Was that unintentional or.. there's a deep meaning behind it?" I asked my dog.

Overthinking last night is my thing.

I concluded a lot of possible reason behind his scorching kisses. I don't assume things but the way he took back the kiss I started, it was undeniably unblaming.

Parang may gusto siyang iparating.

And because I'm so excited to know the reason behind it, I never wasted time. I wore my uniform and I also put a light teen-look make up which is so unusual.

"Oh, kumain ka muna ng almusal mo, Lexa." Nanay Linda pulled the chair for me.

I shook my head. "Busog pa po ako. Aalis na po ako, Nanay."

"Ang aga naman ata?"

"Kailangan lang po." Pangatwiran ko.

"Oh.. Lexa anak. Are you going to school na?"

Dad suddenly came out from his little lobby with his specs on. I thought he's already in his company.

I kissed him on his cheeks. "Good morning, Dad.. nandito ka pa pala po."

"Yeah.. My schedule today isn't that hectic compare to last week. Aalis ka na ba?" He beamed.

"Ahm.. opo." I bite my lips.

"This early? I mean that's good because you're punctual but are you not taking your breakfast?" Kuryosong tanong niya sa medyo kunot na noo.

"Kakain naman po ako mamaya sa Cafeteria."

"Seems like you're excited.."

My heart stopped for a second. O my god! Was I obvious?

"No, Dad! I just have a lot of things to finish and I want to do it in school."

"Okay.. then." He finally agreed. "Linda please tell Tatay Mario to prepare the car, we're heading out."

We're heading out?

"Are you going with someone else, Dad?" I asked.

"Yes, ikaw. Sumabay kana sa 'min total madadaanan din naman namin ang school niyo."

There's no way I can say no to Dad this time. I have no excuse to reason out!

"Okay na po, Sir. Naghihintay na po siya sa labas." Bumalik si Nanay Linda at ibinalita 'yon.

"Salamat, Linda."

He removed his specs and get his phone. Naglakad na siya ngunit tumigil din nang mapansing hindi ako sumusunod.

"What's the problem? Do you not like to have a ride with me?" He asked dramatically. "Come on, Lexa. It's so rare to be with you in a car, just today."
