Chapter 03

"For real? As in ginawa niya 'yon?!"

Until now, the scene earlier during Earth Science class is still blowing inside my head. It replay every single time. After the class with Mrs. Aguilar, Clyde came with her. He received his punishment through cleaning the whole faculty office.

At hanggang ngayon, iniisip ko pa rin kung bakit niya 'yon ginawa.

Tumango ako kay Kaela bilang sagot sa tanong niya.

"Patingin ng notes niya,"

"Wait."

I kept it inside my bag. Balak ko itong ibigay sa kanya mamaya at magpasalamat. It's obviously his notes but the hell he made a show para iligtas ako sa kahihiyan.

"Taray, maganda ang hand writing niya!" Puri ni Ava.

"Isa lang naman ibig sabihin niyan... He likes you!" Sabi ni Kaela.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Yeah! Trust me, walang lalaki ang gagawa niyan sa babae kung hindi niya 'yon gusto!"

"What do you think, Ava?"

She turned to me. Mukhang napaisip siya. I'm slowly turning to a simp, this isn't good.

"Agree ako kay Kaela. Men want to impress the girl they like so.. he probably wants your attention." She said while observing Clyde's notes.

"What if he's just being friendly? Kasi friendly din siya kahit kanino e.." Sabi ko.

Nagkatinginan silang dalawa. Napailing-iling si Ava sa 'kin, mukhang may naiisip. Bakit ko ba kasi 'to pinoproblema? Wala naman dapat 'yong meaning pero ba't binibigyan ko?

"Mahirap ma-fall sa friendly, sis."

"True!" Ava said to Kaela.

"We don't know if he treats everyone the same way as you.." Kaela added.

"I know! Let's just stop creating clout here, it's giving me false hope. Magpapasalamat lang ako sa kanya mamaya.."

Hindi kasi ako nagkaroon ng pagkakataon para kausapin siya kanina. He's busy cleaning the faculty office during recess and until this lunch time. I wonder if he had his meal already?

"Pero don't lose hope! Landiin mo lang, no pain no gain kaya go hard lang.." Ava gave another flirty motivational advise.

She's really supportive when it comes to this.

Dumaan ang ilang subject ng hapon at hindi pa ako nagkaroon ng chance na kausapin si Clyde. Bukod sa kinakabahan ako ay lahat ng subject teacher namin ay pumasok at may ipinagawang individual activities. Talking to him inside the class while the teachers are teaching is disrespectful. I had to wait until dismissal.

"Clyde, can we talk?"

Finally, after dismissal I got the chance to asked him. Buti na lang at naunahan ko si Colleen na gusto rin pala siyang makausap. She even glared at me when she saw me approached Clyde.

Ngumiti sa 'kin si Clyde at tumango.

My heart skipped. Naging huramintado ang pagtibok ng puso ko.

"Sure.." He said and fixed his things.

Kinakabahan ako. I don't know how to start the topic. Ba't niya ba kasi 'yon ginawa? Feel ko tuloy na kargo ko siya. Like I owed him a lot. He doesn't need to do it, though. It's fine if I get scolded by Mrs. Aguilar. Mas mahirap nga 'tong sitwasyon ko ngayon kaysa kanina.
