"techno i don't fucking understand this." allura groaned, sliding the book over to him. she didn't know how to read it. it had been weeks since she had gotten the book, almost a full month.

techno quickly read over it and passed the book back. "you need to be close to his grave." he sipped his coffee, reading a book.

"well where the fuck is his grave? i've been dead." she skimmed through the pages.

"it's in lmanburg." he said.

"why are you being so bland?" she looked at him, closing the book.

"because you aren't thinking straight. if you bring wilbur back, everything goes downhill." he sighed, standing up.

she stood up after him. "that was the whole fucking plan, techno. i thought you were on board with it." she followed him.

he laughed. "on board with it? i did it so you could be happy. wilbur and you together are fucking crazy. you'll end up killing yourself out there!"

"i already fucking did die, techno. you know that." she spat out, making him stop. "if you don't want to see him, then don't fucking help me." she walked out of the door with the book and went towards her old house. ranboo hadn't come back there ever since she came back.

she opened the door and slammed it shut, lighting a cigarette. she sat at the table and began reading the book again.

after a few hours, she gave up. maybe she shouldn't have taken it after all. it was dark out, and she could tell techno was asleep. she grabbed her jacket and the book then walked out of the house, making her way to the nether portal. she was going to a place she hadn't been in months.. well, years in her time.

as she made her way along the path of the smp, she admired what was built over two months. she walked past lmanburg, sighing at the sight of it. sometimes, she missed the old days. her and tubbo were good, there wasn't much war, and her and wilbur weren't batshit crazy.

she finally made it where she wanted to be, the river. it looked like no one had been there in while. the moon was shining on the grass and flowers. it was peaceful.

she sat on the side and dipped her feet in the water, putting the book beside her. she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, sighing. after awhile, she was close to falling asleep. a breeze picked up, so the wind was blowing through the trees. she couldn't hear anything but the trees rustling.

a branch snapped from behind her, but she thought nothing of it. no one would be out this late. it was too dangerous. more branches snapped, and she opened her eyes, looking around. when she didn't see anyone, she went back to admiring the place, her eyes closed.

that was until she heard someone beside her trying to grab the book. she whipped her dagger out and held it to the persons throat, who was wearing a mask.

"drop the book." she glared at them. they listened and dropped it. "good. now, take your mask off." the person didn't do what they were told, so she took a step forward, the blade touching their skin. "mask. off." she said harshly. the person sighed in defeat and took the mask off to reveal it was fundy. "f-fundy?" she was taken aback by him, moving the knife off of his throat.

"yeah it's me." he snapped, crossing his arms.

"why- what are you doing?" she picked the book up, staring at him.

"look, as much as we all miss the old wilbur, he isn't coming back. if you bring him back, everything will go to shit. i can't-" he paused. "WE can't," he corrected himself. "go through that again."

"he treated you like a son!" she yelled, holding her dagger up.

"then he decided to explode the one place i could call home, then made his own father kill him!" he yelled back and took a step towards her.

"he cared about you!" she pushed him to the ground.

"all he ever did was hurt me." fundy mumbled, staying on the ground. she looked down at him and sighed.

"look, i don't care if you don't want him back, because it's happening either way. you can't prevent it." she sat next to the man, staring at the river.

"i know i won't be able to stop you, but it was worth a try." he rubbed his eyes. it looked like he was crying.

allura looked at him, feeling somewhat sympathetic towards him. the two sat in a comfortable silence before fundy broke it off.

"i miss it." he stared at the water.

she looked at him confused. "miss what?"

"lmanburg." he mumbled, sighing.

"i miss it too. i miss not knowing who the fuck dream is. i miss everything." she quickly swiped away a tear trying to escape her eyes.

he hugged her tightly, not letting go. they both really needed it as she started crying, and he did too. the two were crying in each others arms, glad to have someone feeling the same. as they pulled away, both still had tears streaming down their faces.

"i'm so sorry for putting you through all of this fundy. i'm so sorry." she cried.

he smiled softly. "it's okay al. it isn't your fault. i missed you. i'm glad you're back." he stood up, dusting himself off.

she also stood up then hugged him. "you're the first person to say that to me. thank you fundy." she smiled, pulling away.

"i should get back to my house. the sun is about to rise." he looked at the sky. she nodded and waved goodbye. once he was gone, she started walking to the portal to get back to her place.

once she made it home, she went to her room and sat on her bed. she yawned and opened her bag to grab the book, but couldn't find it. panicking, she dumped everything out of her bag. it wasn't in there.

fundy. that son of a bitch took it.

~~~
fundy smiled at the book, proud he actually got it. now it was time. time to revive the one person he has been wanting alive. time to revive schlatt. time for a little chaos and revenge.
