The Mysterious Introduction

A dirty blond woman laid her ear upon the old desk table with her arms folded. Her azure eyes were hidden behind her closed lids as the wisps of her hair wave slightly in the draft, ticking her nose and rounded cheeks. Every time the wisp was brushed against her nose, she would react by crinkling at it, subconsciously scratching it with the inside of her arm.

If you happened to ignore her surroundings, then you wouldn't think of this as anything out of the ordinary. Just a girl napping in her class, probably tired from a night of studying. Someone who just couldn't take the drowsiness and finally sunk into the teeth of the sandman. However, it wasn't as ordained as it should've been.

The girl only awoke once she had heard some clanking coming from in front of her. She had thought it was just the washing machine again. Until she realized she wasn't home, rather she was in a classroom.

"Huh?", she questioned aloud, finally coming to her senses. She blinked her eyes rapidly to defog them from her deep sleep from earlier. Her back cracked as she sat up, causing her to stretch briefly with a slight hum in satisfaction. Her eyes danced with stars as a result, making her blink even more to clear it and once she had focused, her eyes fell upon a strange classroom.

She slowly turned her head around the room, spotting many irregularities. Her eyes didn't land upon her old classroom, filled with warm colors and the sun shining through. Rather she found a humid, overgrown classroom that almost looked like something out of science fiction—if it wasn't for the ivy on the walls that is.

It had looked abandoned, yet there was still power since the seemingly electronic board in the front was still powered on. Which meant that someone would be using this place, otherwise why would anyone keep the power on here? What confused her more was the barbed wire beside her, which made her jump up out of her seat when she spotted it.

"Oh crap, if I had moved my head closer to that, I would've gotten a spike to the head!", she exclaimed, backing away to the next row of desks that was next to the one she was on. She never was a big fan of anything relating to pain, even if it hadn't happened yet, the thought alone made shivers go down her spine.

"Jeez, who in their right mind would cover windows with barbed wire? Especially in a school..", she sighed, putting both hands on the top of her hair and ran it down to the corners of her neck, letting them rest there. She shifted her weight on one foot to the other in a sort of mindless stance, trying to understand what in the world was going on.

Before she could get further lost in thought, the racketing sound that awoke her earlier started up again. It regained her attention again as she looked over where it originated. The locker's door was shaking violently, and it sounded as though someone was banging on it from the other side.
