When Naruto would go to train in the evenings, Rinn would read.
Unlike her brother who hated reading (and studying, and anything remotely related to taking in information and remembering it), Rinn enjoyed learning about new Justus and techniques she could apply to her training. Guy-sensei mostly specialized in Taijutsu, so ninjutsu and genjutsu Rinn figured out herself, besides what was taught at the Academy.
At first she started with chakra control, which, for some reason was extremely difficult, for both Naruto and Rinn. When she needed a bit, a lot would come and when she needed more, it was almost impossible to control properly. She'd usually end up expending too much chakra without the jutsu actually happening.
After weeks of training, Rinn concluded that chakra-control was hard, but not unachievable. She had improved, but she could still get a lot better. Especially if she wanted to do the Cool-Green-Healing-Palm-Thing she read about, which she also knew was just too advanced for her age. Rinn would know, she spent three whole hours wasting her chakra trying to heal a small cut on her hand, only to go home exhausted with no results.
It was one of these days when Naruto was off training, that she came across the Flying Raijin jutsu.
She had been reading a book on the different Hokage's Jutsus, and the Flying Raijin immediately caught her attention. The more she read on the jutsu, the more she wanted to learn it. So much that she went to the library right then to get more about the jutsu. Unfortunately, there wasn't a convenient book that gave step-by-step directions on how to perform the Flying Raijin.
So, the next day for training, she lugged the book in her bag all the way to the training grounds.
"Guy sensei!" she called, "I want to ask you something!"
"What is it, my Youthful Flower? You seem especially filled with the power of youth today," He struck one of his 'Youthful Poses' as she sweatdropped at him, but shook it away as she got the book from her bag.
"Do you know how to do this -" she flipped to the right page and showed it to him, "- jutsu?"
Guy's eyes widened as he saw the jutsu. It was funny that Rinn would show him this jutsu when it was one of her father's signature jutsus, the one that got him the name, 'the Yellow Flash'.
"The Flying Raijin?" he asked, an eyebrow raised, "Why do you ask?"
"It's so cool!" Rinn's blue eyes were alight with excitement, "I want to learn it! So then I can be the 'Red Flash'!"
Guy sighed. "Listen, Rinn, no one in Konoha really knows how to do this jutsu anymore. Besides, you'll have to make a seal, and that itself is too hard for a ten-year-old to accomplish,"
Rinn smirked. "You said that about the Eight Gates too, Guy-sensei."
It had taken her at least a year of grueling and torturous training, but Rinn finally learnt how to open one of her chakra gates. Guy-sensei didn't let her open anymore, because apparently it was too dangerous for someone as young as her.
"Shh - you aren't supposed to be talking about that!" Guy said, his eyes wide in panic, "Do you know how much trouble I'll be in if someone finds out that I taught a ten-year-old that technique?!"

Loyalty | Uzumaki Rinn
Fiksi PenggemarIf you had to describe Rinn Uzumaki in one word, it would be loyal (sure, hot-headed, impatient and loud would also apply, but we're thinking positive here). She was loyal to her village. She was loyal to her friends. She was loyal to her brother. ...
