Niel's POV:
It was finally time.
I had just turned seventeen yesterday, and now I was finally going out to sea.
Makino-san and the Mayor were kind enough to give me a small fishing boat with a decent sized cabin.
It had enough room for me to train and laze around.
And I think it can roughly fit at least me and four other people.
I mean, I could always buy a bigger ship, but for now, I'll enjoy sailing with this ship.
Slouching a bit, I sighed to myself, remembering that I broke my staff while training with Gramps.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to buy a better one along the way.
As I stood on the deck of my small sailboat, I looked towards the people who were seeing me off.
The bandits were all there, with Dadan hiding behind some bushes.
Makino-san and the Mayor were there too, and they were all waving at me, yelling out their goodbyes and farewells.
"Take care, Neil!"
"Be careful to not fall asleep and fall off the ship!"
"Take care and don't catch a cold!"
"Remember to eat!"
I sweatdropped a bit, but waved back nonetheless, saying.
"Yeah, see you guys!"
"I'll come swing by for a visit whenever I feel like it!"
"Oh, and tell Dadan that I said sorry for all the trouble we caused and thank you for taking care of us!"
I yelled out to them, knowing full well that Dadan was listening.
I looked around trying to spot any sign of Luffy, but there was none.
Sighing, I turned around and was about to leave when all of a sudden loud footsteps and yelling filtered through my ears.
"Neil-nii!! Wait!"
