I walked the girls to the campfire so that they could learn our end-of-the-day ritual. Suddenly, a pink seashell started to appear above Cleo's head.
She had been claimed by Aphrodite. Slowly, the same thing happened to all the girls. Emma was claimed by Athena, (yes!) Bella was claimed by Apollo, and Rikki was claimed by by Ares (told you so) By the time we got them all settled into the right cabins, Percy and I were exhausted. I fell asleep as soon as I laid down on my bed.
