"So, how...how was Clarisse?" I reluctantly asked the girls, knowing their answer already. Here is what I heard:
Emma: "She was...umm...interesting?
Cleo&Bella: "Horrible."
Rikki: "She was awesome!"
(Back to Annabeth)"Well, I guessed so- wait, Rikki, did you say you liked her?" I asked Rikki. Surely my ears had to have deceived me. "Yup, I loved her." Rikki replied, honestly and sincerely.
Percy and I exchanged glances, thinking the same thing : only children of Ares usually got along, and Rikki was pretty arrogant and rude.
