I woke up and got ready to go to the training center, where the girls and Percy would probably be waiting for me. The girls have improved a lot in their fighting skills. Just when I was making my way to meet Percy and the girls, a camper told me that Chiron wanted me in his office. "What?!" I heard Percy exclaim as I neared my destination. " You heard me right, your quest begins now. You will tweak your fighting and strategy today and leave tomorrow morning." Now it was my turn to be surprised. "Chiron, I began to reason as I entered the room, you expect us to begin our quest when the girls have had only a few weeks of training?" " Annabeth, I see why you would be concerned but these girls seem to be ready. They will be in the water most of the time checking for clues. You and Percy will be there if any fighting is needed. I'm sure you will be fine." We all them headed to breakfast, still processing the facts that our quest began in less than 24 hours. You might think I would be used to the whole saving-the-world business by now but each quest still felt like the first one all over again. I couldn't even imagine how the girls were feeling, since this actually was their first quest. I started making strategies in my head as I took my seat. I could tell this was going to be an interesting quest.
