it's been a week since haneul and jeongguk had their long conversation at the school's rooftop. how haneul missed it.
ever since the day jeongguk left her alone at the park, she always imagine how they would bump into each other again and became good friends instead of strangers.
and the universe listens.
she never expected him to be the boy next door and mostly has the same major with her at the university. but again, this is her chance to get to know him better and maybe be a special someone to him.
it's funny how 2 months ago, she thought that jeongguk was a rude spoiled guy who stole her banana milk, but now she can't even stand being away from him.
there is something that attracts her to him so much that she would leave her two friends at lunch just to hangout with him at the rooftop.
"there you are" he smiled. haneul waved her tiny hand and sat next to jeongguk who's taking off his earphone.
"what were you listening?"
"oh...it's nothing"
"come on! i want to hear too"
"you won't like it"
"just let me listen" she insisted.
the dark haired boy sighed and gave his left earphone to her. his thumb pressed he play button as the song began to play.
haneul closed her eyes and bop her head gently, following the beat of the song while jeongguk was staring at her features, studying the details.
without him noticing, his lip started to curl a smile as his hand moved, wanting to poke her soft rosy cheeks. he wants to caress her soft brown hair and kiss the top of her nose every time she crunches them. he finds it cute.
but before he could, 3 minutes had passed and the song ended as haneul opened her eyes and stared.
"i like it, it's a light song with a happy vibes" she said. he quietly smile knowing she likes it. "the title of the song is euphoria actually, so it is a happy song" he spoke.
"can you sing it?" haneul's eyes grew big and hoped he said yes, but jeongguk stayed silent and quickly shook his head.
the light in her eyes faded as she looked down, not wanting to force him. "alright then, let's head back to class" she sadly said and stood up, walking towards the exit door.
"w-wait.." a soft voice spoke.
she turned around and found him standing close to her. he lifted her chin gently just for her to meet his gaze.
"jeongguk...w-what are you doing?" she nervously said. and with big courage, he began to sing.
"you are the cause of my euphoria"
