A/N:
Oh my god!! This by far is my most popular fanfiction! Thanks for the support and votes!! You guys are the bomb! Ba-la-la-la! *intense Baymax action*
Ok time for some Dave and Karkles feels!
***
**KARKAT'S POV**
"Oh my gog...!" I shook, then looked at the mirror.
Vriska had caused this.
"She did this!!" Dave growled.
Kankri was already on calling someone. That's what he did last time. Sometimes I'm glad to have a brother like him..
I checked (Y/N) for a pulse. It was faint.
"She's alive!!" I yelled to no one in particular.
The next few minutes were a blur.
The ambulance pulled in, I remember that. They took (Y/N).. Dave and Kankri went into the truck. I didn't know at the time.
The whole way I held (Y/N)'s hand.
( *karkat fans giggle all at the same time* )
We arrived and we had to sit in the room while they helped her.
Gog, please let her live!!
**DAVE'S POV**
I didn't cry.
"Striders don't cry!" Bro always would say.
I begun to doubt that.
As I was sitting next to her in the ambulance, I felt like I was going to cry.
They ushered her inside, and we had to sit.
Sit and wait.
It was the most excruciating wait of my life.
Waiting for a birthday, or Christmas, or a party, or anything else wasn't as bad as this.
It was crushing and horrifying. Would she live? We're we too late? What would happen?
Could she do it again? What about Vriska? Will she take a hint?
The questions I had in my brain made it worse. I couldn't think straight, I couldn't answer the questions.
Everything was a maybe. No yes, not even a no.
Maybe.
Kankri was calming ️Karkat down, who was shaking visibly.
After a while a nurse came in.
"You can go see (Y/N) now," she said, showing a white smile.
It was a fake smile. I had seen them from doctors and teachers all the time. A fake smile.
I hated fake smiles.
We went in to see her. She was still unconscious, but breathing. The sight of her hooked up to equipment and a heart monitor and a breathing device and cuts all over her made me stop.
(Y/N) didn't look like herself. Not the happy (Y/N) who didn't let anything bother her.
This hurt me.
"She'll be ok," a doctor walked in. "She can go home once she wakes up and feels well enough to walk."
"Thank you," Kankri said, ️Karkat and I were at a loss for words.
I sat by her bed, and so did ️Karkat.
"She'll want a sweater," I looked at ️Karkat.
"Ok. I have no money."
"I have my bro's card. Stole it. Be right back," I said.
Hospitals all had those weird shops where you could get "Just born!" Things for babies and such. I would get (Y/N) a sweater from there. I walked inside. Immediately a (F/C) sweater caught my attention. It had a rose design on the front. No words. Yes, this would be perfect.
I bought it. I'd deal with bro's anger later. I went back upstairs, and set it on the bed.
(Y/N)'s eyes suddenly started to flutter open.
