"(Y/N), go to prom with me?" Dave asked you.
"I'll go with you," you smiled, hugging him.
On prom night, you walked in with Dave, Karkat saw, and his heart broke, but you didn't know. He left, sobbing.
You and Dave danced, he even took you up to help him DJ a bit!
You guys were voted best couple and got an award. You loved that night, and hung out with all your friends. You were glad you stayed, but then you realized you hadn't seen Karkat. Maybe he couldn't make it, you thought.
