You decided to go with Karkat, after some thinking. Dave had practically the whole school, boys and girls crushing on him, he'd find someone.
You walk in with Karkat, and see Dave up at the DJ stand with John.
"Y e s," you whispered, secretly shipping it.
"What was that?" Karkat grinned.
"I ship it," you laughed.
"Ship what? There's lots of ships possible here."
"John and Dave."
"Dang," he laughed. "Me too."
"It's perfect!" You guys laughed again.
Then, you guys danced for a while, and had some snacks and chatted with other people. You were voted best couple and got a cool ribbon! Everyone seemed happy and you were glad, and then Karkat kissed you.
