-Chapter 2-

 Y/N's POV

I woke up today to realize that my alarm hadn't gone off yet, so I had extra time to get ready. Which is honestly the best thing I can ask for, time. Because usually I cant find the time to do anything.

After waking up the slightest bit, I went to the bathroom to where I had forgotten that my toothbrush was still in the damn toilet. ¨Great...¨.

I had no other choice but to grab it from the toilet, wash it off, then brush my teeth. It was very disgusting and annoying, due to the fact that I could've done this yesterday and I chose not to.

After thoroughly cleaning my toothbrush, and brushing my teeth, I went to my room to get dressed.  

I thought I would do something comfy, mainly so I can go straight to bed as soon as I get home. So, I slid on shorts, an over sized sweater, and some sneakers. It wasn't much but it was something.

I had extra time before school this morning, so I decided to go to the nearby coffee shop that I go to sometimes. Figured that would fill me up till I got home.

Today was going better than expected..

Selene's POV

I woke up today at 6:30 this morning. I found that very odd knowing that I would wake up 15 minutes before my alarm. I guess I really DID have a good sleep. Since I was somewhat productive today, I turned off my alarm so it would not bother anyone else. They better be grateful.

I went to the bathroom to find that someone bought more of MY toothpaste. I guess Mom got that for me. How thoughtful of her.

After brushing my teeth, I went to my room to find some clothes. I wanted to wear something... casual I guess. Or just something that I didn't wear every single day. 

I decided to wear some of Razul's ripped jeans,  baggy maroon shirt that said ¨BITCH¨, and some black sneakers. Mom would've criticized my outfit for many reasons, school reasons, but today she couldn't tell me shit. HA!

I still had some time left before we had to leave, so I looked up the nearest coffee shop to go to while I waited for everyone. After finding a route on my phone, I walked over to the shop which was not that far surprisingly.

Arriving at the shop, I saw someone that looked familiar.  Then I remembered, that was that girl I had talked to yesterday. I forgot her name, but I at least know that I can talk to her while I wait I guess.

Y/N's POV

I saw that Selene had entered the coffee shop, which meant to me one of two things, 1. She came here to actually buy coffee, tea , etc. or, 2. She had extra time and decided to come here.... probably both.

I wanted to get to know her a little bit better, so I walked up to her to have a nice chat with her.¨Hey Selene!¨.

¨Hey...¨.  She seemed off today, but that wouldn't stop me from getting to know her. Or at least for her to tell me what was wrong

¨So Selene, want to have coffee with me?¨. She nodded in response which brought me the slight bit of reassurance that she somewhat wanted to be my friend. Or get to just get to know me.

After ordering, we sat down at a booth near a window which felt calming in some sort of way.

I decided to start the conversation because I didn't want to be sitting in silence for the time we had left.  ¨So, um.. How are you this morning?¨

¨Okay, I guess. You?¨.  

¨Umm, Im good for the most part.¨.  After talking some more with Selene, our drinks arrived. 

¨So Y/N, you moved here last year correct?¨. I simply nod my head as I was sipping my mocha cappuccino. 

It was pretty nice at the coffee shop, until I checked my phone. ¨Umm, Selene..¨.

¨What Y/N?¨. I slowly turn to her with the look of terror.

¨Were going to be LATE TO SCHOOL!!!¨. After saying that, we quickly get up, then rush out the door. ¨Selene, we need to go. NOW.¨

¨I already know that Y/N!! But, I need to head back home, so my parents can drive me to school.¨.  Quickly unlocking my bike, I drag Selene on the bike with me.

¨Y/N! What the hell do you think your fucking doing??!!¨.

¨You said that you need a ride. So, Im doing you a favor. YOUR WELCOME.¨. After gaining balance, I sped all the way to school, having 5 extra minutes before the tardy bell.

¨ WE MADE IT!!! I dont know how you did it Y/N, but we made it.¨.  I felt a small smile forming on my face, feeling a stronger bond with Selene. We went inside, feeling relived for the fact that we are both here on time.

Selene's POV

After heading inside, I pulled out my phone to see several missing calls from Mom, and multiple texts from Razul.

They were probably wondering where I was, and why I didn't tell that I was going to do something. Like I understand the damn concern, but bitch, you dont SEND ME OVER 50 TEXTS and 30 MISSED CALLS. Like DAMN the one time I actually put my phone on silent-

You just dont do that to me. Its extremely annoying.

After complaining to Y/N, for a good 5 minutes, we walked to the hallway near where I was yesterday to hang there.  But, turns out that someone saw us, and snitched. So now, there is a teacher by the bathroom.

¨(murmurs) Great...¨. We  ended up deciding to go to the small gym, one the gyms that this school doesn't use. 

It honestly wasn't that bad of a hangout. It had some air-conditioning, lockers, and some other things. It was somewhere Y/N and I could come to talk or to do anything else really. ¨So Selene, I just wanted to know if you'd like to-¨

*Phone Rings* ¨Hold on Y/N, gotta take this.¨.

I looked down at my phone to see that it was Razul, probably wanting to know where I am. I pick up the phone saying,¨ What do you want dumb ass?¨.

¨WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? Mom and I have been worried sick about you..¨.  I've  honestly never heard Razul so upset before, it worried me more than I thought it would.

¨Well Razul, today I woke up early and I decided to go to this nearby coffee shop to go hang with Y/N. After finishing, we realized that we were going to be late for school, so Y/N took me to school on her bike.¨.  I could hear a sigh of relief, after telling him that I was okay.

¨Dont do that ever again Selene, you really scared the crap out of me.¨.  After talking a bit, we said our good-byes, then ended the call.

-Time skip-

After school, Y/N and I exchanged phone numbers so we could talk more. 

While Y/N was leaving, I saw my parents car, which made me nervous due to the fact that I completely left MY PARENTS without notifying them or anything.

Plus, Mom can be awfully scary sometimes. I slowly walked over to the car expecting a lecture on how Im supposed to, ¨Notify us when you leave.¨ type of shit, but when I got into the car, everything seemed to be fine.

It seemed like nothing had happened, which was honestly a relief. 

As soon as we arrived home, I ran up to my room and flopped onto my bed. I slid off my shoes, got under the overs and went straight to bed.

Today was the most eventful day I've had in a while, honestly. The most tiring eventful day.

But I guess that happens when your up and about all day.
