Y/N's POV
As we were walking to the closet where the blankets were, I saw that Selene's whole mood changed after what I had just said. It made me wonder if Selene really meant what she said, saying that she was alright when she really wasn't.
As I was zoning out into my overcoming thoughts, I bumped my head into the wall in lack of focus for where I was actually going. "Ow shit!".
"What the fuck- are you okay? What happened?".
I looked back at Selene gave a small smile and said, "Yeah I'm fine why? And don't worry, I just wasn't focusing on where I was going.".
"Cool, glad you're okay. So is this the closet we were looking for?".
"Yes it is. Can you lift me up so I can reach the top blankets? There the ones that are the softest."
"Sure thing, alright now up you go."
"Thanks! This will only take a sec."
*5 minutes later*
"Y/N, can you please hurry the hell up, my arms are getting tired."
"Almost there and got it- ahh!"
"Ah shit-"
We both fell to the floor ending up on toppled on top of each other, feeling slightly red after the fall.
"Sorry Y/N, I-I didn't mean to..", Selene said sadly.
"Hey it's alright I know you didn't mean to. Hey, what's on your face? Hold on let me get it for you."
As I was wiping off the smudge on Selene's face, I could see a slight bit more redness on her face, which was slowly start to grow on mine.
"There. Now your beautiful face is clean again.", I said while smiling.
"Thanks Y/N. For the face clean and the compliment."
" Hey your welcome! I knew it would brighten your crappy day so yeah."
We both stared into each others eyes, sharing the same flustered expression as we both laid there silently.
"Not that I don't feel uncomfortable, but can you please get off me Y/N?"
"Oh sorry, heh, forgot that I was still on top of you..not that I had a problem with it but...sure".
We both got up, picked up the blankets and went back to my room, still slightly red from earlier before. Once we reached to my room we started to make the bed, just before I heard the front door opening.
"Y/N!! I'm home!!"
"Shit, my mother is here. We need to hide! Quick the closet!!." I shove Selene into the closet with myself following after. I quickly closed the closet door and hid with Selene. We stayed in there for a good five minutes before my mother went up the stairs to my room to continue to look for me.
"Y/N, if this is some funny joke your pulling on me I swear to god-"
She stopped talking for a moment and just sighed and left the room.
Selene and I then both let out a huge sigh, relieved that she didn't find us.
"That was too close", Selene said with a relieved look.
"I know, I don't what I would've done if she had found us"
We waited a little longer before we both slowly got out of the closet hoping my mom wasn't close by. Once out of the closet, I received a notification from my phone.
*phone dings*
"Hold on Selene, gotta take this".
