03. Ubuyashiki

"How weak" Mitsuko commented as she watch the demon screamed and disintegrate from the effect of her poisonous claw. 

"They are no match for you Mitsuko-sama. you are too powerful for them" Sora complimented Mitsuko

"We should continue our journey" Mitsuko said and walk away from the former demon clothes, Sora followed behind Mitsuko not wanting to stray to far from her master.

They passed wisterias, unlike normal demons, the wisteria did not affect them. Continuing further, she was met with someone's garden. There was a man, sitting in the porch of the garden with who Mitsuko assumed is his wife. It almost look like he had knew that she would come here. 

"Is this your property?" Mitsuko asked 

The man smiled "yes"

Mitsuko turned around to leave since she had no intention to trespass someone's house. 

"Please wait" The man called Mitsuko before she could take another step.

Mitsuko turned around and patiently waited for the man to speak. 

"You are a demon yes? how did the wisterias not affect you?" The man asked, his tone had no malicious or anger, it was pure curiousty. 

"I am not obliged to share that to a mere stranger, however i will tell you that Muzan Kibutsuji definitely did not make me" Mitsuko replied 

"How about you join us? You would be useful in the demon slayer organization" The man offered

"My master does not bow nor follow anyone Ubuyashiki-san" Sora replied on behalf of Mitsuko 

"so you are aware of who i am?" Ubuyashiki asked 

Sora nodded while Mitsuko only stared at him. Ubuyashiki smile did not falter "You do not need to bow to anyone, we have the same goal do we not? might as well join forces" 

Mitsuko stared at him and then his wife who has been staying silent for the entire conversation. Something tells her that she should accept his offer, and so she did. 

"Very well, i accept your offer" Mitsuko smiled 

Sora was a bit baffled by Mitsuko's decision but she continued to stay silent because she trust her master judgement. 

"You are quite smart, how old are you Ubuyashiki?" Mitsuko asked 

"i am currently 22 years old" Ubuyashiki replied 

Mitsuko noticed the purple veins on Ubuyashiki face and his almost white eyes. 

"You are blind" Mitsuko stated 

"that, i am" 

"does it has something to do with that purple veins? half of your face is covered by it. Would you mind telling me about it?" Curiousty got the better of Mitsuko

"i don't mind at all, please come in. My wife will make tea while we talk" Ubuyashiki smiled

Mitsuko stepped in the porch with Sora following behind her, they sat down across Ubuyashiki. They almost look like children waiting for their mother to read them a bed time story.
