"I'll give it my all!" Tanjiro shouted
"Working hard i see" Mitsuko said appearing behind Tanjiro
Everyone shouted surprise at Mitsuko's sudden arrival.
His eyes soon widened at the realization that she was standing under the sun "w-wait the sun!" But to his surprise Mitsuko wasn't affected by it
"b-but how?" He stammered
"I'm immune to the sun" Mitsuko said as she smiled at him, hearing this, he grasped both of her hand
"How did you do it?! Can you help Nezuko turn back into a human?!" He asked, his eyes filling with hope.
Mitsuko smile slightly waver "I'm afraid that's a story for another time and unfortunately I do not know how to turn your sister back to human"
Tanjiro sulked and sighed
Mitsuko smiled encouragingly at him "Don't give up okay? I'm sure you'll find a way to turn her back into a human"
Tanjiro smiled back and nodded "thank you for that uh.. Mitsuko was it? I heard your name during my trial"
Kiyo pat his back and whispered "address her as Mitsuko-sama Tanjiro!"
"A-ah uh.. sorry Mitsuko-sama!" Tanjiro apologies and bowed
"It's alright Tanjiro" Mitsuko chuckled
"I must go now, I have other things I need to do"
"Ah of course Mitsuko-sama" Tanjiro nod and smiled
"See you, Mitsuko-sama!" Naho, Kiyo, and Sumi waved their hand
on the way to Shinobu office, Mitsuko bumbed into Kanao "How are you Kanao?" Mitsuko greets
Kanao flipped her coin, seeing as the coin landed on head she smiled and bowed her head a bit "I'm doing good Mitsuko-sama"
Mitsuko smiled and pat her head "that's good to hear, I must go now. See you soon kanao"
Kanao smiled and bowed again at Mitsuko.
'both Shinobu and Kanao has adapted to smiling just like you, Kanae' Mitsuko thought
"speaking of Kanae, perhaps I should go and visit her soon" She mumbled
Aoi heard Mitsuko as she went pass her 'she must be talking about visiting Kanae-sama grave' Aoi thought as she continued to carry the clothes to dried it outside.
Mitsuko knocks on the door and waits for Shinobu.
"Come in" She heard
Mitsuko opens the door and was met with a smiling Shinobu.
"Mitsuko-Sama, i'm glad you came" Shinobu greets, Mitsuko gentle gaze turned serious.
"what is it that you wish to talk about?"
"Straight to the point as always, Mitsuko-Sama" Shinobu smile remains unwaver
"you must have notice by now that Nezuko Kamado is a rare case. it's not very often that we see demons that are able to hold their hunger"
"Yes. you are correct" Mitsuko agrees
"it makes me wonder.... Did she become a demon from Kibutsuji Muzan's blood or... yours"
"Are you accusing me of turning Nezuko into a demon with the intention of creating an army of my own?" Mitsuko stared Shinobu right in the eyes
"it's merely a theory" Shinobu smiled as she continue to make eye contact with Mitsuko
"Until now you still held a grudge against me" Mitsuko said and sighed breaking the eye contact.
"talk to me again once you've made a conclusion that does not based on your emotion" and with that, Mitsuko left the room.
Shinobu smile disappeared from her delicate face, she turns to her desk and stared at the photo of the three of them when Kanae was still alive.
