Arc 1 : Chapter 7 : Expectations

URARAKA POV:

I can't believe this is happening! She thought to herself.

She was with the boy whom she loved so dearly. A certain green-haired dummy whom she met when first stepping into UA.

I saw a certain green haired boy about to fall. I couldn't just let him fall and splat onto the ground. I ran towards him and touched his body with my own hands, and used my quirk to prevent him from faceplanting on the floor. He freaked out and I chuckled. I then adjusted him and released my quirk. I smiled and we had a small chat before separating.

I remember that day, it was so long ago, since we are now second-years.

She sighed.

"Anything bothering you Ochaco?" Deku asked.

"Not really, it feels really good to spend some time with you, ya'know?" I answered.

I saw him blush a bit and brush his shirt.

"Well you picked this place, let me choose the next place for our 'supposed' date." He used his fingers as air-quotation marks, and chuckled. I laughed as well.

I finished up my ramen and helped Deku bring his plate and my bowl to the chefs inside the food truck. Deku then tipped them and we said thank you and headed off.

"Where are we going next?" I asked.

"You'll see." He winked and pulled me by my hand as we raced off to the far back of UA.

We ran for a few minutes until we reached a familiar spot.

"Was this the area where we went to do our physical entrance exam?" I asked.

He ignored my question, which I assume he really wants to surprise me with something. If not then he is just mean.

He walked towards a 4 way crossover and the street looked familiar. The buildings also do looked familiar.

"Remember this place?" Deku smiled.

"This is the place where you jumped in the air so you can try to save me. In return I saved you from falling again!" I answered.

"Yeah, I think I haven't returned the favor." He stated. "You know, saving you."

I smirked. "You saved me more times than I would ever save you, Deku." I answered. It was true.

"I mean yeah you're right, but it only includes hero stuff." He answered. "Not stuff that included you and me..."

I titled my head in confusion. What does he mean about that?

"Oh never mind, oh come here I have another thing to show you too!" He pulled me by my hand again, that I don't mind.

He pulled me to a certain building. The paint were scraped and had cracks everywhere. Besides that point it brought me back to a certain memory that me and Deku experienced.

"Was this the one that you almost destroyed the entire building?" I asked.

"And the same time that you used your quirk in order to retrieve that fake bomb?" He replied.

"Yes, yes indeed." He stated.

"How do you remember?!" I asked. "I mean I have forgotten, cuz a lot of things happened ever since that day." 

"You know the incidents where you think that you were the one that caused them." I teased. 

"Heh, come on there's more things that I GOT to show you!" He pulled me again with much excitement.

I think this date turned out to be a walk down memory lane, but this time it were just us, not with the whole of Class 1-A. Not that I mind though, its refreshing walking down memory lane.

We stopped by a couple stops and finished at the beach. I never noticed that I wasn't able to spend more time with him. Not gonna lie, I was focusing on getting my dream, but never expected to have only 3-4 memories with him. I need to make more memories with him, even if it costed me my dream of becoming a hero.

"Well, I think we should stop here I guess." He stated as he sat down on the sand with his knee up. I decided to sit right next to him, with my legs to the opposite side of Deku so I can get closer.

"You know, today has been fun." I stated.

"Yeah, I know right!" He chuckled. I laughed together with him.  

"By the way, why did we stop here all of a sudden?" I asked.

"Well, this was the same place where I got my quirk." He looked at me. I stared into his green eyes, as well.

"Wait, so this is where All Might shared a piece of his DNA with you?" I asked.

"If you want me to be specific, he took a stra-" 

"Don't say no more, I don't want to be disgusted in the middle of this night!" I pouted.

"You know you're cute when you pout right?" He laughed and blushed at the same time.

I blushed and stared at his eyes again. I felt like time seemed to stop, which is typically possible since Deku can stop time but that's not my point here. Then cherry blossoms seemed to fall down from up above. Wind began rustling both of our hairs and a glint appeared in his eyes whilst looking at me. He kept staring at me, while I kept staring at our eyes. I feel the whole environment heat up and well we pulled away from it when we started to blink and scratch our eyes.

"That was, 'a thing'?" Deku chuckled.

"Yeah." I answered.

Then we shared the silence together as my head went towards his chest, and his head laid on top of my head. We were like that for a couple of minutes then I decided to break the silence, since my heart is pumping faster than I could imagine.

"So, uh Deku?" I asked.

"Yes, Ochaco?" He responded. 

"I wanted to say that, these past few days I think-" I stated.

"I feel the same way too Ochaco." He smiled and hugged me.

I hugged him back and well we stayed like that for a couple of minutes again.

"You know that I won't let anything hurt you, harm and even lay a finger on you right?" He said.

"Yeah I know, and I'll do the same." I stated.

"No, I think that I would be doing more since you can't catch up with me." He smiled. Then we both laughed.

"I never expected this to happen, Ochaco..." He said.

"Never expected what?" I asked.

"That I am in love with the most beautiful, the kindest, most humble, and everything good in between girl." He said smiling.

Then I felt a hot moment that signaled me that it had to happen. I have to do it. Not because of my own sake, but because of the moment.

Then our lips pressed, and our eyes closed, with our foreheads together. While doing so as the sun sets over our body and the starry night sky begins.

Oh wow, OH WOW! This chapter is amazing! I decided to ship them together right now, SINCE its very important to the future arcs that I'll be placing soon hereafter. But don't worry I would still crank up some more training and recovery chapters so that the arc's name won't be betrayed by its' chapters. Anyways guys I hope you enjoyed it thus far and catch you in the next chapter of this series!
