BAKUGO POV:
I spotted a certain green mask. I thought to myself, could it be? No it can't be.
When I approached the scene, I saw how tattered and wounded Deku was. From top to bottom, he was full of scratches, and injuries, yet he is still holding up, standing up. Yet, he looked nothing like a hero. He is not flashy, nor does he look like a normal person. He is no more the Deku that I know since childhood, this idiot is different. Much darker, he is a monster.
He looked at the enemy right in front of him. The villain, then released his army of civilians onto him. The movements looked puppet-like, almost seems like that villain is controlling the civilians, and using them as his army to try and attack Deku.
I can't let them hurt him, no matter if he's an idiot or not.
After that thought, I launched a billion small explosions out of my hands calling it:
"AP SHOT!" I cried towards the enemy.
I looked down and saw Deku still standing although a huge crowd encircled him.
"He's over here guys!" I called out to the others to signal that he is here.
OCHACO POV:
"He's over here guys!" I heard Bakugo call out to us.
Finally we found him, I thought. We can finally go home with him and laugh and smile with him again. That is what I wanted, what we wanted. We wanted for Midoriya to come home again to Class 1-A, back again.
"Escapee secured!" Momo called out.
By then we all arrived to the scene. The crowd of former-controlled-soldiers of Dictator dispersed quickly.
"Everyone." Deku muttered out. "Why?!"
"Because we're worried about you." I responded.
"I'm..." Deku sighed. "Okay."
"That's why, you shouldn't worry about me, STAY BACK!" Then he proceeded to kneel.
"That's good to hear." From the front Bakugo answered. "As expected of his majesty the successor of 'One-For-All!" Bakugo clapped disrespectfully in response.
"So after all this..." The street began to heat up with Bakugo's resentment towards Deku.
"...Can you still keep smiling?!" Bakugo finished.
Bakugo's voice echoed across the street. It was heartbreaking, but at the same time, it was true.
"To be able to smile..." Deku stood up from his kneeling position. "...For people to live in peace." I saw a tear trickle down from Deku's mask down towards the floor. "I need to keep moving forward so..."
"ALL OF YOU, GET OUT OF MY WAY!" Deku's voice echoed back towards our direction again.
He was no longer the Deku I knew him to be. Not the person whose clumsy, and the person who almost fell to the ground twice, if I were not able to save him. Not the person who saves people for the good of all, and not anymore cheerful. Not the person who I look up to, admire, and have a massive crush on. No longer is he Deku, I can only see in him as a monster now.
