The Scoops Troop and the remainder of the Griswold Family sat in Steve's car outside of the Russian base. They just sat and stared. Were they really doing this?
Again?
Was it worth it?
Really worth it?
Did the Scoops Troop just drag their best friends into this too?
Holy shit.
They did.
Why?
Was there really a point?
Wasn't seven people already enough?
And now eleven people?
What if the other four die?
Mike, Nancy, Lucas, and Max.
What would they do?
Would the Scoops Troop just go on with their lives?
Or...
What if they all die?
Then what would happen?
Would it be the end of the world?
Would the Russians successfully take over?
Would the Russians successfully open the gate?
Would the Russians successfully release the demodogs?
Would the Russians successfully bring back the Upside Down?
Well, think positive.
If they all do die, at least they die as heroes, like Dustin said.
"Well," Mia sighed, breaking the almost painful silence. "Are we going to get taken now?"
"Kidnapped." Steve corrected her.
"I-" Mia furrowed her eyebrows. "Sure. Kidnapped."
Dustin took in a deep breath, remembering what had happened before while he was still tied to the chair. He prayed that's as bad it was going to get. "Then let us go." He said slowly, releasing his breath.
"Let us go." Robin echoed.
Even though they wanted to go, they still sat in uncomfortable silence, rethinking.
Should they though?
"Okay, let's go." Mia said quickly, opening the car door. The other three followed.
"Hey!" Dom called before they could take another step. The four turned to look at him.
"Be. Careful." He said. He was serious. It was almost kinda weird, hearing him talk seriously.
He was usually goofy or just talking like a nine year old.
The four just nodded and turned around.
"Hey! Russians!" Mia yelled, waving her arms. "Hello! We are trespassing!"
"Well, that was one way to do it." Dustin mumbled.
"It was one of the easiest." Mia mumbled back.
And, before they knew it, they were back inside the building, but this time, they were really paying attention. They looked left and right, peeking at and (if they could) inside of the doors. Until, something caught their eyes.
A big hallway with a large set of grey metal doors at the end. There was light protruding through the rectangular windows.
Red.
There it was.
The gate.
