Then over 10,000 planes start flying towards the city,

The first step is bombing, then the tanks and infantry move in.
Atlas Military bullheads try to fight back but are shot down, Atlas is powerless against this invasion.
Beacon's POV
News: "Breaking News, The Antarctic Empire has just launched a massive invasion on Mantle, Atlas Military is trying there best to fight back but as soon as they shoot they are shot down by The Antarctic Empire"
Ozpin: "If Atlas doesn't surrender they will fall..."
Weiss: "Winter..."
Everyone in Vale is watching their screens in disbelief and horror that the Kingdom of Atlas is being invaded and the Atlas Military can't do anything to stop it.
Timeskip of planes dropping bombs on Mantle.
No POV
The infantry and Tanks start to move in
Over 500,000 soldiers
Over 250,000 Tanks
Within 10 hours Mantle is taken by the Antarctic Empire, it will be harder to take Atlas.
It will only take a few weeks to make a base in Mantle, anti-aircraft guns are being moved into position, any Atlas soldiers left are taken prisoner and sent back to the main base. Any citizens left are evacuated, bodies are collected and given a funeral, any fallen buildings or crashed bullheads are cleaned up.
Vale's POV
News: "Mantle is now in the Antarctic Empire's control, any surviving citizens are being evacuated, any surviving soldiers are becoming prisoners. We will keep you updated on what's going on."
The people of Vale are horrified, some are asking if they are next, some are thankful that that Vale is allies with the Antarctic Empire.
Atlas POV
Atlas officials go into a panic knowing that the Antarctic Empire's next attack will be Atlas, General Ironwood is considering surrendering but Jacques is refusing to let him do that.
Ironwood never wanted this war, if he never started it Jacques would have stopped supplying the military with dust...
