It would be underestimating to say she was angry because she was exploding and yet trying to act as nothing happened.

"Dadan san, don't worry it's our Luffy, wherever he is he will be fine" Makino tried to steady her but was quite hard to do

"I am not worried about that stupid brat Makino!" Dadan threw the beer bottle on the floor which she probably drinking

"But boss since the news came you haven't stopped drinking and cursing luffy" pointed magra

"Dadan San, don't worry luffy will be fine, remember that time when porechemy kidnapped luffy for treasure," Makino asked with a small smile

" Of course, he hasn't changed, has he?" Dadan scoffed

"yes he hasn't, neither did ace. Just like how ace saved luffy that day from porechemy, he will save luffy from being executed. I believe in them." Makino said while caressing dadan's shoulder

"Yea, he better otherwise I'll punch him," dadan said with a small smile forming on her lips

"No igaram, I have to do something! Luffy has done so much for us, we have to do something for him!" Vivi was walking up and down the hallway

"We were strong too! yet we were not able to bring down crocodile, LUFFY SAVED US THAT TIME!" Vivi yelled,

Vivi was never a person to lose her cool, but this time she was lost it. Vivi had a feeling that someone will save luffy and he won't die but she still wanted to help, Because she believed that luffy was her captain.

"Vivi my dear," cobra heard everything whatever Vivi confessed

"Dad! What are you doing here I thought you had a meeting with Koza!" Vivi asked

"Yes, I had, the meeting will be delayed because I have something more important to fulfill," Cobra stated

"More important? Are you talking about luffy? Because right now nothing is more important than him, father" Vivi announced

"Yes, as you already know, we cannot send men to protect him. Vivi this nation was saved by him, after everything he has done for us we cannot let something happen to alabasta. Do you think he would be happy to know that we put alabasta's future in line to protect him, " asked cobra

Vivi hesitated and said "no"

"That's why let's protect him the way it is possible for us. I tried to contact the fleet admiral Sengoku, we can talk it off to free him if we fail to do so, then at least we tried" with that cobra left the room

"But Dad, that's not it" Vivi bit her lower lip thinking what is there for her to do.
