"Who would be in their right mind to Love a girl that have a daugther?" I whispered.
"You should've have tried me. I won't judge. Instead, you, you lied straight to my face without even batting an eye."
After the incident in my unit, I have been thinking a lot. I've been confuse of, be still in contact with Irene or left her hanging because once I'd caught up with her, botg of us nor she can't turn back. She'll be forever ties to whatever complications I have along with my daugther.
"Aren't you gonna answer your girlfriend? Or obviously, you are ignoring her." Mina blurted out, pulling me out of my deep thinking. I remained silent as I watch my phone turned off on its own for nnth time today.
"She's not my girlfriend. And I don't think she'll be interested still if she'd known how much complications she'll be in once I'll let her in." I explained, making Yeri and Mina to avert their serious gaze directly to my eyes.
"You already let her in Lis, so instead of waiting for her to know about your daugther in unexpected way, might as well be honest and seriously talk to her." Rosé said, making me realize that I never really had a chance to talk to Irene about Eden. I tried but never really intend to mention.
"Knowing that she and her friends assumed that Eden is Jisoo 's daugther, and they also think that you two are quite a couple. Imagine how Dr. Bae will take this on." Yeri also commented, making me fully slump over our table.
"I told her that Jisoo and I have nothing special, Yeri. I just didn't confirm if she believe me or not." I answered back as I look at their expressions one at a time yet they just gave me a shrug.
"Let's say you did, per se. But you along with Jisoo showed different actions. And if I am not one of our circle, I would really tell by a glance that you are an item, let alone have a child." Mina said with finality. And I can't deny that they all have a point.
"I don't know what to do first. Not to mention, my mother's unforsaken family is already here. Any moment now, either I am going to be killed or - -."
"No one is going to be killed. Do you think I will let that happen?" Mina playfully sashed yet I know she meant it, while the rest of us just sighed and cackle few secs after. "Do I really need to remind you Manoban who your friends are?"
"I know but not all the time you can protect me. I know -."
"Me? Oh, they don't know about Eden. That's a good sign Lis." Jisoo sighed in relief as we all nod in agreement.
"But still, we can't - -."
"Whatever you say Lisa, we will stick together. Now, move to the other seat, before I'll yank your head off." Jennie appeared from behind causing me to flinched.
"Relax, It's just me, Jennie Kim." The rest of us laughed, and started eating as our orders been served.
As we were about to finish eating, Ten appeared unannouncely. Thankfully, my friends and I cope up right on time and act out naturally.
"I've had a hard time looking out for you." He whispered as he stood near Mina, who's right in front of me.
"And you choose to be in a crowd, isn't that more dangerous?" Jisoo attacked immediately, making him to change his bubbly mood into a serious one before pulling his cap down to cover mostly half of his face.
