Friday came, and Joohyun never showed up. The last message I last received from her was still after the training.
To : Dr. BAE : Coffee next week? - Lalisa
From : Dr. BAE : What's the ocassion?
To : Dr. BAE : Can you meet me though?
To : Dr. BAE : It's not okay to ignore someone Bae.
From : Dr. BAE : I am driving Lalisa. You could've just called if you're that impatient.
To : Dr. BAE : The hospital is just a minute away. Besides there's no traffic.
To : Dr. BAE : Just send me a text whenever you're not busy.
To : Dr. BAE : Are you on duty?
From : Dr. Bae : Just checking my post ops. Then, I'll head home after.
To : Dr. BAE : Don't forget to eat dinner, doc.
From : Dr. BAE : You, too Lalisa.
To : Dr. BAE : You still did not answer my invitation.
From : Dr. BAE : I haven't received any invitation.
To : Dr. BAE : Are you free on Friday?
From : Dr. BAE : I don't know. I'll see what I can do.
To : Dr. BAE : I'm sorry. I really didn't intend to let you wait, and honestly I didn't really think you'll be coming.
From : Dr. BAE : I know.
To : Dr. BAE : Why do I feel like you are ignoring me?
From : Dr. BAE : I think otherwise Lisa.
To : Dr. BAE : Its just that, you're quite really cold.
From : Dr. BAE : You want my warmth? That's not a good request Lalisa.
To : Dr. BAE : I guess we'll have to figure things about us through a coffee then Doctor Bae.
From : Dr. BAE : Is that a way of asking me out?
To : Dr. BAE : I'll be there on Friday and Saturday.
Though I haven't received any messenge beyond that yet I somehow thought we were okay then. So still, trying my luck. I came here at the coffee shop again after my class. Same place, and same seat. And whenever the door chime opened, out of reflex I turned to look up, yet be disappointed after.
