"Yes? What it is this time?" I abruptly answered the call, who's bugging me for the entire day now. "I am busy, you know that."
YERIMISE : Busy spacing out corrected by.
"What is it, Kim Yerim?"
YERIMISE : I just finished the meeting, I mean my trusted employee did, and guess who's the new investor? I mean who wants to be - -
"Cut the chaste or I - -."
"Chief -." I turned and look at the three ( Wendy, Seulgi, and Joy) , then literally watch them lock the door and stood a few steps in front of me.
YERIMISE : Tss. You are no fun at all. They're here, haven't you heard?
"Oh. What did you do, Kim Yerim?" The other line went silent, then her contagious laugh followed. I am glad she's back to her old self, or I might say even better now.
FLASHBACK
Weeks have passed, and Eden wanted to go back home. So, we've been staying here in their old unit for sometime now and I am still trying to track where Lisa is. Eden Hera and I are recovering fast, but still need proper care and thorough observation. That's the perks of having a family of doctors, not to mention the nagging and all.
"Sweetheart. Are you sure okay?" Dad held my wrist, that's when I realized he's still here.
"We are okay physically but emotionally? I don't know when we'll be okay." I plainly said, then looked at Eden who's peacefully sleeping beside me. "I am hurting more for her, Dad."
"We'll find who's behind this." I nodded, held his hand tightly.
"I've got that covered, Daddy. For now, help me find Lalisa. Please."
"I will, sweetheart." He said as I sighed before closing my laptop.
"Give me all the information, Dad. I will also call Mom later." I mumbled, grab my bag, and my car keys.
"Will do so, sweetheart. Where are you going?" He asked as I kissed his cheeks, then smile before bending down and caress Eden's hair.
"My friends are still staying so Eden will be fine with them. Aren't you too going?" He creased his brows, averting her eyes on me then to back Eden.
"Are you really leaving - -." I didn't let him finish since I seriously need to breathe some air. If not, I might go crazy without me surviving it.
I drove without a particular place in mind. But I ended up near the shore, with a beautiful sunset flashed on it. I close my eyes, and for the first time I let myself cried all out till I worn out.
I didn't notice I fell asleep and the place were already shut black. I drove as fast as I can when my phone almost burst with so much missed calls and messages on it. As soon as I park, I hurriedly took the stairs and forcefully open the door.
"What - what - -." I was panting so hard that all I could hear is my heart beat but I still see Eden hurriedly came up to me.
"Plea - Please. Don't - Don't leave me too." She said sobbing hard, that she even tried to kneel in front of me but before she could do so, I already pulled her in my arms.
The Last time I was here, it was full of Lisa's friends happily goofing around. Now, its now full of my friends, and family, along with Yeri. It made me realized that she really left us. That there's only Eden and I now. Everything really changed now.
