Every kid dreams about being a superhero. Having powers, saving people. But no kid thinks about what it's like to be a hero and not succeeding.
I climbed the tree at the side of my house, I got to the window to my room and opened it slowly trying to be quiet I jumped into my room taking off my specially made black body suit, and opening my closet pulling open a Secret compartment in the back of the closet. I put my gun, a few knives, and my body suit in it. Then closed it and took out my bun and left it in a side braid. I slipped on a tank top, falling face first on the bed trying to go to sleep. Man, who knew that almost getting killed and have the lives of people on your hand can really tire you out. Tomorrow I go back to school after a whole summer of helping people, I hope you're proud of me Jason Frost Overland. I then fell asleep.

In the morning I awoke to my sister Anna jumping on my bed yelling,
"GET UP SILLY IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!!!!" I groan pulling the covers over my head which she just pulled off. "Alright.......I'm up, I'm up!" I said getting up. Anna ran out to get breakfast, I walked to the bathroom with a towel and a pair of clothes. After I took a shower, I put on a white long sleeved shirt that exposed my right shoulder, light blue jeans, and old covers my hair in a tight bun again.
I walked downstairs to be greeted by Anna, she was wearing a green short sleeve top that had flower designs on it, and black long pants, white tennis shoes, and her strawberry blonde hair in her usual two braids. She was eating chocolate chip pancakes. Mm mm Chocolate!!! I sat down next to her and ate some too. Once we were done eating she grabbed my wrist and pulled me outside to my car and as I got into the drive seat, I looked at her and smiled widely at her,
"What!?" She asked making a weird face at me.
"Why are you so excited to get to school?" I asked as I turned on the engine.
"Aren't you?" She asked, I didn't answer.
The whole car ride Anna talked about school. I was happy that she was excited, but my mind kept drifting to last night.
--Flash Back--
Why, why did it have to be me to tell her the mission was a fail? Oh yeah, because I am the team leader. I was walking in the hallway with my hands behind my back, my shoulders and back straight, wearing my black mission suit. Trying to explain that my team failed, Jason came along to help me.
"So, what are you telling me Ms.Queen?" My boss was walking next to me, not looking at me as she talked, just kept walking straight. Much like a robot.
"He got away." I kept walking next to her when I felt a hand my shoulder, I stopped walking still not looking at her.
"They would be proud, everyone is!"
"But he got away!How could they be proud?!" I didn't do my job, the bad guy got away, and she telling me to be proud?!
"Maybe, but because of you all of those people are home with their families safe! So yes, they are proud!..........look at me,.........sweetheart,......look at me!" I finally looked in her eyes.
"You had to make a decision and you had to make a hard call, but it WAS the right one!" She put her hand on my face.
"Now, go home and wait for further instructions." she said stepping back, spy boss once more. I nodded my head in response, as I turned to walk away she said one more thing,
