Once she was dressed from head to toe, I had even forced her to wear a pair of socks and a giant hoodie that may have been mine, but let her wear her tights, that by the way fit her in all the right places.
I held her hand tightly in mine, but it wasn't an affectionate hold, but rather a possessive one. As we walked back inside the kitchen, my brother was already done eating and was stuffing the food back inside the fridge.
At the sound of us entering, he stiffened and then looked over his shoulder at us. I lead Serenity over to one of the bar chairs and helped her settle, all while I glared warningly at Leo.
He, as dumb as he is, didn't know what to do with himself. So we watched him as he twirled around and desperately looked after something to busy himself with so he could act unbothered by it all, but clearly he failed.
I watched, unimpressed, as he made a fool out of himself, but soon had enough of it and walked towards the fridge myself.
"What do you want for breakfast, Serenity?" I asked without turning around
I heard her hum for a second before she answered— "Bacon"
"Of course" I mumbled to myself
As I searched through the box, I soon found out that we were running out on bacon, so I decided to look elsewhere in case it was something else we really needed to restock, and it was mostly meat and chicken we were out of, and considering that's basically my beloved mate's diet, we really needed to get more.
But for now, I grabbed some bacon and opened the package it was wrapped in.
"Oooh bacon! Make me some too" Leo exclaimed and now seemed to have forgotten all about the tension from before
I chuckled, since he probably thought I was going to fry it, but I wasn't the one to tell him that.
"Sure" I mumbled as I tried to hide my smirk
As I stocked some bacon onto a plate, I grabbed another plate and stocked some on there as well. I put one of the plates in front of Serenity, and the other one I gave to my brother, who stared at me like I was absolutely insane.
"What are you playing at?" he questioned, but soon got the answer once he caught sight of my mate now devouring her raw bacon with merely her hands
And that's when I didn't bother to hide my smirk anymore. He looked at us both in horror, but I didn't let it get to me.
"She-She's-" he stammered as he switched his gaze between me and Serenity
"Eating" I finished as I walked over to the sink to fill a glass of water for her and then pour some salt into it

I put the glass in front of her, which earned me a thank you from her, but her mouth was full of bacon so you could barely hear it. But I still smiled at her in adoration.
